A single option remains

The prison room isn't that big. It is not more than twenty cubic meters big, and contains only six memory rooms. Although it isn't a lot of rooms, it is enough for Alissa. The reason why, is because the little amount of available core memories, are enough proof for Alissa to know that her lover is certainly still alive.

The problem however, is that his consciousness is sealed. Sealed so deeply, that he basically does not exist. After all, even his core memories that are present, doesn't amount to much…

Nevertheless, with Evan's signs of existence being faint, Alissa was even more stimulated to proceed with her plans. She had been right about her optimistic thoughts of Evan still being alive, and is very happy because of that. What made her even more happier, is that Evan wasn't doing anything like lying to her, or abandoning her. He was simply unavailable like a person that is in a coma, or a person that has memory loss.

Alissa had all the right to feel glad and very happy. All she has to do now, is to basically find a way for Evan to recover from his unconscious and unaware state. The thing is, she had already made up a plan for that, thanks to her previous enthusiasm.

In conclusion, it seems that her optimism wasn't just for nothing, and her plans not just some wasted thinking. She had the strength to preserve and figure things out, and is therefore rewarded.

Now that Alissa knows the bits and all, she can actually continue her plans. Of course, it is not going to be a simple task for her, and will certainly not be as easy as her entering Mark's mind. One thing that Alissa was able to realize, is that she can only proceed with her one plan, and not the current one.

There is no way for her to retrieve her lover from Mark's conscious. The only way for her to bring Evan back, is through others and Evan himself. She'll have to activate the missing core memories of the time he had spent with her, which she will only be able to do by reliving the memories of his through Mark, with the help of Elena's body.

'Perhaps, he might wake up if he remembers me…' Alissa could only guess, and certainly hope.

The fact that he might not remember most of his childhood however, that's sort of a problem. But that doesn't matter to Alissa as much as the subject of him remembering her. If he can at least remember her, she can be together with him again, after all. Maybe he might not be exactly the same, however, to her, that didn't matter, because having him by her side is better than having to lose him forever.

After Alissa was done with her own thoughts, she stood up from the ground, because she was ready to accept her new life and beginning. Her journey that officially begins now, is what she had in mind. Her hard work that she'll be putting forth, and her upcoming struggles. She was ready…

Ready to leave, she walked past every metal door first, in order to watch all of the available memories of her lover. Some of his core memories as a child, a young boy, an early teenager, and lastly, his life as a blooming nineteen year old.

After those doors, there are no other memories of his…

None of his self-improving journey that he always told Alissa enthusiastically, and none of the fun times that he had with Alissa, with them venturing through many well known countries…

It was quite the sad reality for Alissa to accept. But she accepted it nonetheless, and stayed determined, hopeful, and full of enthusiasm.

"Goodbye my love. We'll meet again, soon…" Alissa uttered her last words, as she stared at the six doors that are now in front of her.

With her final but not last goodbye said, she left Mark's consciousness…

A second or two had passed, and Alissa found herself back inside the familiar looking room, with her being in front of the sleeping Mark. She had a smile on her face, as she looked at the face of Mark that resembles Evan's quite a bit. This made her think back to the state that Evan is currently in, and awakened her resolve even more as a result.

"I'll bring you back to live, Evan. I promise…" She uttered as she stared at the face of Mark. She was ready. Ready to risk it all…

That said, she left off towards the home of Elena, in order to get more accustomed to the character that she's trying to impersonate. At the moment, Elena was awake already, since she is the type of person who has a good sleep schedule, and because morning isn't the hours that she usually uses for sleep.

For sure, she must have been confused when she had discovered that she actually took a nap. But of course, it wasn't her who took a nap, but Alissa who had tricked her mind into doing that…

Unfortunately for her, Alissa is about to do it yet again…
