A not so thorough surveilance
Hearing the holy apostle's words, the team had no objection for what he and Lora were about to do. The team, they had no reason to reject the man's kind wish, as they had no secrets to hide from him and the S.I.T, and because there would be no problem following the man's request since he had reassured them that he and Lora would respect their privacy.
Of course, it's always better to be safe than sorry, but, this was a process of a choice of whether they want to work together with the S.I.T or not. With a check up being a necessary procedure for the team to be trusted by the S.I.T, they had no choice but to pick one of the two obvious sides.
