The idea of people being stranded on an island may not be particularly original, but being stranded on an island where creatures want to devour you alive surely qualifies as original right?

The reason I wrote this story, however, was because I wanted to create something unique and dark while also listening to some dark music. All I can say is that, while I'm not embarrassed that this is the first story I've ever published on this platform, it makes me sad that something of which I'm proud isn't being acknowledged for its beauty. However, this is primarily my fault because I neglected to update it and didn't give it the popular tags.
