chapter 38 : the deaparture

"do you request for my presence sir, ?" ask stella to the duke.

"yes, please sit stella," say duke philif as stella sit on the chair.

"stella, as you know that archduke already announce you and lucilia engagement, i'm not gonna lie that you will have to face a lot of danger in the future, and i'm gonna say that me and my wife aiura as well the archduke and the archduchess will support you in anyway we can," say duke philif with a seriousness on his voice.

"i understand sir, and thank you for your support," say stella to the duke who was grateful for giving her a full support, "but can i ask you a question," say stella to the duke who permit it by nodding his head.

"Why did you trust me to this extend, is not i grateful because of your trust, but it sound kind of weird to me that you suddenly give your trust to me even when you doesn't know anything about me for long time, i may even a spy from another kingdom whose job to observe this household, ?" Ask stella to the duke, that was a question that she curious since a while, no matter how much she think about it, it doesn't make sense that she receive such treatment when she just save her child.

"Is because of your action that make me give you my full trust, when the first time we met, i have that kind of though that maybe you some kind of spy that was raised by the other kingdom, but what kind of spy who risk her life to protech an innoccent people," say duke philif to stella.

"Not to mention after that mission you come straight to me and ask to become an adventurer, so you can become stronger to protect those who you care about, that the reason why we put our trust you," say the duke to the stunned stella.

"Just because of that, ?" Ask stella who can't beleve that her action was the reason they think highly of her.

"Yes, many people just all talk and do nothing, while you take action to prove yourself, and that action is more then enough for the the arbento household to give it's full support to you," say duke philif to stella who was grateful of the duke and the other in this household, for trusting her, and she make a promise for herself that if they need her help in any way she can do to help then she would gladly do it.

"though it might be sudden, but what is your plan right now, ?" ask duke philif to stella, as she already know what she will do.

"sir, may i ask for a break for a few year from the kingdom," say stella to the duke who was sulrise by what the girl is saying.

"a break you said, ?" say the duke who was a little confuse.

"yes, i want to train, right now i'm far to weak to protect anyone, so i'm gonna use the time i had to train as hard as i can," say stella who show the determintation on her eye which the duke notice.

"if that what you wish, that i will permit it, stella auburt i'm giving you a long term mission to explore the world and comeback in 7 year, can you do that, ?" ask the duke to the the little fox girl who nod her head.

"yes," say stella.

"them prepares fo your luggage, you can depart in a week," say the duke to stella who nod before she exit the office, she was grateful that she was giving the time to spend her time with the other since she was going for 7 year.

At that time stella do a lot thing like spending time with the other knight, sophia and her sister, while in the night she talk to lucilia that she will have a training fo 7 years, and apalogize for leaving her alone.

"I see," say lucilia with low voice as she doesn't like the fact that stella was going away for 7 years, but she couldn't do anything since it was her fault who make her leave her home to train, away from the people she care, so she doesn't has any right to intervene or try to stop her.

"Well you know, i write you a letter every month, so you don't have to worry alright," say stella as she try to reasurring lucilia.

"Yeah, ella," say lucilia to stella who was surprise.

"Well, in the book i read, that what usually couple like giving a nickname to other, i mean we are a couple right ?," say lucilia to stella who nod at her remark since it's look lucilia was about to cry.

"Yup, of course," say stella.

"T-then, what about me, can you give me a nickname ," say lucilia who hope stella giving her a nickname as well, after all she come up with the name ella after a few days of wacking her brain.

"Lucilia, luciana, lia, luci, lucy, what about lucy, ?" Ask stella about the name she come up with.

"Ehm, i like it," say lucilia as she and stella spend their last night together talking and laughting together.

Before the sun rise stella and lucilia finally made back to the archduke estate where stella bid her farewell to lucilia as this will be the last time she will going to meet her since she will have to focus on her training.

At that time lucilia quickly give stella a kiss, but not the kiss that they usually give on their cheeks, but one in the lips, at that time stella was quite shocked by lucilia boldness where both of her cheeks grew red when she and lucilia finish kissing.

"See you again," say lucilia to stella before giving her a smile.

"Yeah, see yah," say stella before she exit the archduke mqnsion where lucilia couldn't hold back her tear as water start coming out from her eye, it pain her that stella was going away from her for 7 years, but she know that she will come back for her, so she quickly wipe out her tears.

"The next time we meet, i will be the a person who can proudly stay by your side," say lucilia as she quickly get ready for the new day.

Back to the mansion stella has already pack her stuff before she look at her room, as she remember the first time she got into this place.

"Well time to go," say stella as she bid her farewell to eveyone before she going, though she was suprise by a gift she received from everyone in the mansion as she couldn't help but form a smile on her face.

"Be safe alright," say oscar to stella.

"Yes,"

"Don't forget to always cheek your health," say emile.

"I understand,"

"Don't forget to write a letter for me alright," say sophia as she hug stella with all her might while she was crying on her shoulder.

"Of course,"

"Here for your lunch," say the chef who give stella a lunchbox.

"Even is a little from use, but use it well alright," say duchess aiura who give stella a bag of gold coin for her travel, as she need a lot of money if she was going away for that long.

"I will thank you," say stella as she look at her baby sister who look sad even though she doesn't show it.

"You don't have to worry, i will take care of her with care like she is my daughter," say the head maid that reasure stella as she bow her head to her, thanking her for what she did.

As she step up from the estate while not a single time looking behind, since she can hear a few tears of people, as she also doesn't want them to see the tear that coming from her as well she go with a smile on her face.
