chapter 22 : golem
At the way to the castle stella and jean encouter, a few low level monster who was easily slash by jean.
'She use wind magic huh, and applied to her dagger to make it even sharper,' though stella as she observe jean way of fighting where she slash the monster into 2 before went to another.
"Alright, come on let's go," say jean after she finsih all the monster there as they continue to the castle.
"So this is the entrance huh," sau stella who look at the entrance of big castle they try to explore.
"Let's go," say jean as they walk toward entarance.
At that time they look into the first floor where there almost nothing in there except for some old furniture.
The same for the second floor where they just find an old furnice that cover in dust.
"Now that i think about it, stella you have some sharp smell, don't you smell anything bad in this room, ?" Ask jean to stella who try her sense of smell but found nothing.
"From the flyer that we got, it most likley the victim were already turn into skeleton, but still how come no one find the corpse in this castle anyway," say jean as they continue to look at all the floor and they found nothing.
"Maybe someone by chance found the body and buried around this place, withiut knowing about the flyer," say stella as jean no her head, of the posibilities of something like that might happen.
"Let's check the basement," suggest jean to stella who nod as they go downstair where they saw a multiply and old bookshelf in there.
"Wow, the owner must love book that they have a basement full of it," stella said to jean who look at the old book.
Stella herself decide to look at the book where she accidently fall and hit her head toward the book who fell toward her.
"Stella are tou alright, ?" Ask jean who stella nod her head while rubbing her head, but suddenly the wall in the room suddenly move revealing a secret door in front of them.
"This is.." say stella who look at door infront of them.
"A secret door," say jean as she and stella decide to go downstair, to see what the castle had in store for them.
"Wow, it look like a dungeon," say stella as she look at around where she found a skeleton who wear an armor with a pendant on it's neck.
"Jean, this is..." say stella as she show the pendant to jean and nod.
"This is the corpse we been looking for, i never though she was in here," say jean aa she look at the cut on the armor of the woman.
'The wound she received look deep,' though jean but before she could think of any other thing, she and stella hear a footstep that approching them, as they saw a some kind of golem who look like a human with twhin blade that was
"Intruder detected, kill all the intruder," say the golem who launch it's self to stella and jean.
"Look like we found the killer huh," say stella who pull her sword and stop the golem twin sword from attacking them.
At that time the golem quickly pull away from stella, and prepared another attack but before the golem could do it, stella appear in front of the golem and swing her sword destory the golem into two.
"It look like we nees to report this to the guild," say jean to stella who nod to jean idea but at that time they feel a magical power coming from the golem stella destroy, and slowly the golem come back to it's form before stella destroy it.
"Intrudur detected, kill all the intruder," say the golem who was repaired and it's look become more powerful than before as it launch itself toward stella who pull out her swors and block the golem attack.
"Look like you become stronger huh, then let's start round 2," say stella as she put more power on her sword and push back the golem who was taken aback and attack stella with and endless attack.
At that time stella infuse her sword with her magic and slash the golem into pieces, before the golem was reform and become even stronger than ever before.
"Stella, don't attack it, we need to find the place where the golem got it's power, that the only way to defeat him," say jean to stella.
"Well easier said than done, but how do we found it, if that golem block our path," say stella to the golem who put it's magic on it's sword and prepares to attack once again.
"I'm going to find it, you need to make sure that golem don't go and chase me aleight," say jean to stella who nod her head and puth her magic to her sword.
"Ok, i hold it as long as i can," say stella to to jean who quickly run towars the direction where the golem come from, of course it was not an easy job since the golem practicly don't give jean a chance as the golem block the path and swing it's sword towars jean who was block by stella with all her might.
"You better focus on me," say stella as she grab the golem arm and teleport a few meter from the place where jean at and continue their fight.
Jean who saw that quickly run toward the place where the source the golem regeneration come from and destroy it.
Meanwhile stella at that time was having a hard time fighting the golem who attack endlessly to stella who at that time can't do anything except for blocking it's attack.
'I couldn't kill this guys, since it will become stronger, so the only thing i could do is defense it's attack,' though stella as she stay to block the golem attack who stella didn't manage to stop all of it, leaving a few scratch on her body.
At that time the golem give stella a kick on her face as she quickly use her arm to block the attack, because of that the golem use it's sword and try to stab stella who use her teleportation magic to dodge the attack.
"Shit, that golem got me," say stella who show a bitter smile as she hold her left part of her stomach from bleeding, while looking at the golem who seem to be ready to charge again.
"Intruder eleminated," say the golem who charge once again to stella who use her gravity magic to stop the golem from moving, not only that she strength her gravity magic by use it on one spot that is the center of the golem where it's stand.
"Told you, i'm not gonna let you go that easily right," say stella to the golem who was in the ground try to move it's hand but failes due to the gravity that make it's body harder to move.
