Chapter 3

We reached home after a while,like in canon he still lived in the same house that he and Renee bought together in ther earlier days of their marriage,only now it was a three bedroom and two bathroom house.

Bella and I used to share her bedroom till we were like six years old ,but I asked dad whether I could move into the attic since it was the biggest room in the house and since we were getting bigger and growing older so sharing room would not work.

He didn't have to think about it much and said yes,since it was the largest room in the house we were able to fit in a good sized bathroom too while renovating the attic to turn it into a bedroom that I could use and the money for it came from grandma Higginbothams will that gave me eighty grand so I used ten grand from it and put the rest into my college fund, I was pretty adamant about paying for it and wanted the bedroom to be good since I knew we would come to forks after a while when mom remarries to complete school so I wanted to be comfortable then.

Since I never stopped visiting unlike Bella ,there wasn't much to unpack and the last summer I came I brought a lot of my stuff and left it here prior to the move to make it easier for me.

I came downstairs with a pen and clipboard after a few minutes, Billy wasn't here yet so I quickly took in the state of the house knowing that I only had week to set it up a bit more and make it a bit more cozy because I knew my mates would be coming over and I wanted my house to look a little more presentable since both of them were used to a bit more lavish lifestyle compared to me and wanted to let them know that I could provide for them and another reason was that everything in the house was still the same as when Renee lived here so I wanted to modernize the house a bit and make it look like dad was not moping over mom after all these years.All this has to be done before Bella comes home because knowing my clumsy sister she might trip over something and break her bones.

I moved to the kitchen and just like in canon the yellow cabinets that mom painted over seventeen years were still there, overall the house looks well lived in.

Dad came downstairs after changing his clothes and saw me standing there with a clipboard and pen in hand and he smiled

He asked me " Are you planning on renovating the house?"

"I said, Yes dad I felt that it was time for the house to a have a makeover and wanted to get things down before Bella came to live with us since she might trip over something. "

He grimaced and said that "it was a good idea"

"Rian I've had a bit of money saved up over the years for the house and handed me and envelope.

So I opened it was shocked to find fifteen thousand dollars in it ,I asked him Da d where did you get this much money.

He said " Ten grand is the money you gave me for the house renovation and the rest I put in, I was shocked and tried to get him to take the money back but he wasn't budging and refused to do so before I could further convince him to take the money back there was a loud honk outside and as I looked out the window I saw a beat up old truck pulling up into our driveway behind dads car.

"Great"Billy was here, Note the enthusiasm 😒😐

I was preparing to meet him mentally so that I wouldn't end up shouting at him while dad rushed out to greet them.

The Car I chose was here along with the IPhone and laptop two days ago,I told dad that I was sending it over.

As I came downstairs I saw Billy and his son Jacob ,who was pouting since he was told that Bella wouldn't be here for another week and he wouldn't be able to see her since he had classes and could not skive off classes.

I never really liked Jacob,he was a brat in the entire series ,he was like a kid throwing a tantrum during the whole eclipse book ,he kissed bella without consent and manipulated her into thinking that he would kill himself in the fight with the newborns to get her to kiss him again and to top it all of he finally goes and imprints on Bella's newborn daughter.

He never understood the meaning of the word "NO".

And his father was another thing despite the fact that the Cullens were under the treaty, His son broke it first and he kept putting his nose in my sisters life and he asked the Lapush people to stop going to the hospital when Carlisle started working there. He is a prejudiced old ass, the fact that his grandfather was given a treaty even though the Cullens outnumbered the pack didn't go through his head,the fact that vampires who are older and better fighters compared to the mutts were willing to compromise didn't matter to him .He is a bitter old man and even after what happened with Sam,Leah andEmily he still encouraged Jacob to pursue Bella knowing that there is chance he might imprint on someone else and break my sisters heart.

"Hello Billy",hey Jacob I said plastering on a fake smile on my face trying to be polite

Both of them returned my greetings, Hi Hadrian, how are you ?

I'm fine,doing good .

Jacob interrupted saying "we just came

over to drop Bella's new truck "

I just said thanks and said I have to get stared on dinner now and made my escape to the kitchen.

After that they didn't stay for long and made their way back to the reservation since someone came to pick them up.

I was relieved since I got that conversation done and did jot need to see them till later .

Dad was in the living room watching the baseball match after that and I got started on dinner since he didn't have much food in the fridge or pantry I just made mac and cheese with the rest of the food in he pantry. I genuinely don't know how he didn't kill himself trying to eat food that he made.

Dad was pleasantly surprised with the fact that I could cook since he clearly still remembered Renee's experiments in the kitchen and I promptly informed him that Bella could also cook really well so he could stop ordering takeout so much

Dad "Tomorrow besides going to the hardware store I'll also visit the grocers to fill up the pantry"

There's cash in the jar for food,Rian take that when you go and before I forget there is a three day police meet in Seattle coming up so starting tommorrow four days you'll be alone so should I ask someone to check on you?

I said," No need for that dad I can take care of myself and its a good thing so I can start renovations early.

He just ruffled my hair on rhe way to the sink,when I tried to help with the dishes he said you made dinner so I'll clean the dishes and told me to go to bed since I had a long day today.

At night ,before sleeping I was planning on what to do with the house and fell asleep after a while dreaming of blonde hair and yellow eyes ,dreaming of my mates.
