"Ah, you're right. I should have just asked him. I don't know how much longer Roxy would have to wait if you were the one who went to wait in line," Ayana nodded her head and accepted the money Jack handed back.
The outgoing man exhaled in annoyance as he got into the car. He seemed to take out his cell phone and sent a few messages. He must have ratted to his friend about how unreasonable she was. How could she have protested about that when she was the one who wanted to order in this crowded place?
"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Tell your colleagues in the back to wait a little longer. They might get confused if we don't leave this place right away after you get inside the car," Ayana said as she turned and looked at the direction of the car.
"I understand, madam," Jack replied shortly. He sounded a little annoyed.
