Chapter 713: I Don’t Have Time

Chapter 713: I Don't Have Time

Calm down, Feng Meifeng. Feng Meifeng took a deep breath as she waited for Lu Chen. Lu Chen finally responded to her message. She had messaged Lu Chen for quite some time now. But all her messages went unresponded.

She didn't give up and continued to send messages to her. And it finally worked. Lu Chen responded to her message! Now, she was waiting for Lu Chen at a cafe. It didn't take long before Lu Chen arrived.

"Sorry, I'm late. Traffic was bad today." Feng Meifeng shook her head, "It's ok! You don't have to worry about it. I came early." Feng Meifeng was excited about Lu Chen's message. She came here earlier than him.

Lu Chen smiled and then apologized, "Sorry."

"Hmm?"

"For some reason, I had your profile blocked. I didn't see your messages until now." Lu Chen didn't lie and explained.

My messages were blocked? Feng Meifeng's expression brightened when she heard that. That meant Lu Chen wasn't ignoring her because he didn't like her. But then her expression turned dark as she wondered. If Lu Chen didn't know, who was the one who blocked me?

But it only took a second for Feng Meifeng to know who did it.

Ye Meixiu!

She was the only culprit who would do something like this. She was the one who caused all of this trouble. That was only the case. When she went to ARCS, Ye Meixiu was beside Lu Chen.

Feng Meifeng remembered what Ye Meixiu had said to her. She would do anything for Lu Chen. And that was what she did. She messed with her with that photo, and then she blocked her on his phone.

"What do you want to talk about?" Not knowing what Feng Meifeng thought, Lu Chen asked. Feng Meifeng stared at Lu Chen. Last time, the atmosphere was suffocating and dark. She couldn't get a word out to him.

But looking at him now, there wasn't any of that. Feng Meifeng took a deep breath, "Lu Chen, I want to say I'm sorry. I should have listened to what you said and not slapped you."

Lu Chen didn't say anything but blinked his eyes a couple of times. But he shooked his head, "It's fine. You don't have to apologize for it."

"..." But that caused Feng Meifeng's expression to contort. She didn't want this. This was what Feng Meifeng was most afraid of. She wanted Lu Chen to yell at her, scold her, and tell her how much she messed up.

That should he cared for her. That showed there was still love for her in his heart. But Lu Chen was calm and mundane about it. It was as if it didn't matter to him.

I can't give up. Feng Meifeng didn't want to let go. She asked, "Lu Chen, do you have free time?"

Lu Chen shook his head, "I don't have any time. I have so much I have to do." There were many things he had to do.
