“True,” Darby agreed while smiling widely at Dillon who simply blushed and continued with his task.
“By the way, what are we having for lunch?” Riordan asked.
“I’ve already ordered some takeout to be delivered from Sparkle’s diner.”
Riordan’s expression instantly brightened up upon hearing Darby’s response. “Oh! Is that where you got that bloody meatball pasta from? The one that we had for our date on pack land after we mated.”
“Yeah.”
“Awesome! I can’t wait.”
Dillon rolled his eyes. “Don’t be so excited. I know you. You will eat anything and everything.”
Riordan grinned. “Nothing tastes better than your blood. Or Darby’s for that matter.”
Darby chuckled. “I’ll take that as a compliment.”
Riordan winked at Darby. “It definitely is.”
