Chapter 7 - Necessarius and Golden Lion Organization.

Rudolf Eustach came to Academy City, to escape the pursuit of the Necessarius members, who wanted his Astarte the homunculus he made that could use vampire familiars. The Necessarius believed that if they could make a homunculus like Astarte, then no one would be able to match their group in the supernatural world.

Rudolf Eustach, refusing of course he had other goals with his homunculus creation. And he would not allow the Necessarius to mass-produce the homunculus he developed while he would gain nothing from his hard work. That was the reason he went to Academy City, because Rudolf was contacted by someone who was interested in paying a hefty sum for his research results.

And that person's name was Kihara Gensei, one of the mad scientists from Academy City who felt that Rudolf's homunculus would be able to help Gensei achieve his dream.

Rudolf didn't know how Gensei could find out about his homunculus. But Rudolf didn't care about that at all, because the most important thing for Rudolf was that the amount of money he would get from the research data he sold to Gensei would be enough to perfect the homunculus he made.

Because right now the homunculus he made have a short lifespan, even though the homunculus could use a familiar like a vampire. prolong the lifespan of the homunculus he made was the reason he wanted to sell his research results to Gensei. Because the research he did required enormous funds.

And right now, Rudolf Eustach was in a direct situation. Because there was one saint and one warrior from the Lion King Organization chasing after him. Astarte, who was the prototype of the homunculus he made managed to hold back and keep up with fighters from the Lion King Organization.

But not Kanzaki Kaori, a saint from Necessarius. Kanzaki Kaori with her abilities as a super human, managed to dodge the attack from Astarte familiar and currently strangling Rudolf's neck with her left hand.

Being chased by Stiyl Magnus or Himeragi Yukina wasn't a problem for Rudolf, as Astarte still had the ability to handle the two of them. But unfortunately Rudolf didn't have time to make such preparations, because he didn't expect that he would be chased by a saint like Kanzaki Kaori.

For Kanzaki Kaori, capturing Rudolf Eustach wasn't that difficult. Because basically Rudolf Eustach is not a fighter, but a researcher. Kaori currently wanted to quickly hand over Rudolf to the representative of Necessarius who was already waiting outside the empty building she was currently in and return to the hotel room where she, Stiyl and Index were staying. "Geeeh, you magicians from Necessarius only want Astarte which is my greatest masterpiece," Rudolf said who tried to free himself from Kaori's grip but failed to do so because Kaori was too strong for him.

"To be honest, I don't want to bother with what Necessarius will do with the doll you made Rudolf, because to me catching you is just a part time job to fill my time," Kaori said. "The most important thing for me is taking care of Index, other things I don't care."

"Looking after that little girl is the most important thing to you?" Asked Rudolf who almost lost his consciousness due to Kaori's strangle his neck. "Very good of you saint. You don't know what Necessarius wants to do with that little girl, and when you find out why Necessarius kept the 103000 Grimoire inside that poor girl's head, you'll regret joining Necessarius. The filth that Necessarius and Laura Stuart hide is too much and that little girl is just one of the victims of Necessarius' rot."

Right after Rudolf said that, he finally fainted from Kaori's strangulation. As well as Astarte who fought Yukina, because Astarte's consciousness was connected to Rudolf.

The exhausted Yukina finally felt relieved because she finally can stop fighting against Astarte.

While Kaori walked over to Yukina while pulling Rudolf's body that had passed out. As soon as she arrived in front of Yukina, Kaori lifted Astarte's body and placed her on her shoulders. With Astarte and Rudolf captured, Necessarius' task was finally accomplished. But what Necessarius didn't know was that, Rudolf had already managed to get what he wanted in Academy City and had purposely allowed himself to be captured by Kaori so that he could escape for the second time from Necessarius and complete his research on the homunculus that was not finished yet.

"Kanzaki Kaori and Himeragi Yukina? I didn't expect them to arrive in this city at all," Touma said who was watching the two girls from the roof of the building that not far from the empty building where they caught Rudolf. "Whereas in the anime, they should have come to Academy Town in the summer, if the two of them were here, that would mean Index and Stiyl Magnus that rancid bastard were also here. What a shame! This means I have to face Jonh Penn a few months sooner! And why should there be a girl from the Lion King Organization here too! Her existence will only add to my troubles!"

For Touma who wanted to live in peace without having to deal with magic side until at least summer vacation started. Fut the faster arrival of Index, Kaori and Stiyl changed everything. The arrival of the three of them, plus Yukina would only bring trouble to him. Yukina, Kaori or Stiyl didn't matter to Touma, as he could handle the three of them.

The biggest problem is Index, even though she doesn't have any fighting ability, Index's Jonh Penn mode is really troublesome. He had to find a way to save Index without waking up Jonh Penn who had a duty to protect the system installed on Index's body, which caused her unable to use magic and made Index's body painful so that Index's memory had to be erased regularly.

"Well, at least for now I'll just keep an eye on the four of them, without making any physical contact at all to avoid suspicion," Touma said while trying to calm himself. "Because if they weren't watched over, I was afraid that the incident in the anime where Index would appear in front of me just like that would happen, and I really don't want to be a nanny from a walking magic library who usually only eats, drinks and sleeps."
