Chapter 23 - Touma Vs Kaori/Stiyl 4

There was a sound like a breaking glass, when Innocentius was obliterated by Imagine Breaker. And Kaori and Stiyl had their mouths open, when they both saw that Innocentius which was Stiyl's strongest move is simply annihilated by Touma.

The two of them did not understand at all, what Touma had done to eliminate Innocentius.

"Using a humanoid fire spirit to attack me," Touma said with a yawn. "Not a good idea, since any kind of magic hardly works on me."

"You have the ability to dispel magic!? Unbelievable! Did you also eliminate my previous fire attack with that ability!" Styl shouted.

"Why should I explain to you, how do I stop your attack?" Touma said who wanted to end his fight with Stiyl and Kaori as soon as possible. "If I explain it to you it means I'm a fool telling my enemies how my abilities work? I'm not stupid and naive, so don't expect me to tell my secret."

Stiyl still couldn't believe that in this world there was an ability to dispel magic. Because in all the years he became a magician he had never heard of or seen an an abilities like the one Touma's had.

But then Stiyl thought back to the contents of an old journal he had read in the Neccesarius library, about a power that could dispel magic and almost all kinds of supernatural phenomena that were believed to cause the user to experience endless misfortune.

"Your power is Imagine Breaker a cursed power that is believed to be able to dispel magic and almost all kinds of supernatural phenomena, a power known to bring bad luck to the user," Stiyl said as he took a deep breath of his cigarette to dispel any nervousness that had been building until now. "From the journals I've read, that power is supposed to be stored in a weapon that disappeared decades ago, how you got that power I don't know. But what is certain is that Imagine Breaker will be the end of you, Kamijou Touma."

"Hmm, apparently you're not as stupid as I thought," Touma said with a smile. "You apparently know about Imagine Breaker and the ill effects that each user will receive. But just so you know, if Imagine Breaker can be controlled, then the ill effects that accompany Imagine Breaker can be neutralized so that I won't die because of Imagine Breaker."

After Touma finished speaking, he moved so fast that it produced an After Image and suddenly. Touma was already right in front of Stiyl and hit him in the stomach so hard that blood came out of his mouth and his body was thrown several meters back. Stiyl's body then hit the wall, making the wall crack slightly and then he fainted from the impact of his brain stem.

"Stiyl!" Shouted Kaori who reacted late because she was fooled by Touma's After Image.

Kaori currently wants to run towards Stiyl and check Stiyl's body condition, but before she can run, Touma is already standing in front of Kaori with a right fist ready to hit Kaori.

With her reflexes as a Saint that extremely fast, Kaori used the sheath of her sword to block Touma's fist. Kaori's scabbard that was used to withstand Touma's blow was directly damaged because even though it had been strengthened using runes, all of the reinforcement was instantly neutralized by Imagine Breaker, but Kaori's body was still pushed back several meters, by the pressure and thrust generated by Touma's fist.

Kaori gritted her teeth, Touma's punch she had just endured. Almost equal to the power of her own punch, and that punch made Kaori realize that in order to defeat Kamijou Touma she would have to put all her might into it.

Touma was currently enduring the pain in his right hand. Kaori's scabbard that he shattered was made of a very strong and hard material. He didn't expect Kaori to use the scabbard to withstand the blows he launched.

Touma looked at his right hand which was turning blue and bruised from hitting Kaori's scabbard. He had not felt such pain in his right hand in years. The last time he felt the same pain was when he hit Hiko's body when they were sparring a few years earlier.

'That scabbard is almost as hard as grandpa's body!'

Touma was currently trying his best not to change his facial expression so he wouldn't look in pain in front of Kaori. Touma did not want to show weakness in front of his opponent, if he looked weak in front of the enemy. His pride as a martial artist would be crushed.

Kori who decided to fight Touma with her full strength, knew she had to hold back a bit in using the moves she had. So that Touma wouldn't die, because Kaori had absolutely no intention of killing Touma. Rather it only defeats and disables Touma's movements. So she could have access to Yuragi Sou and pick up Index.

Kaori moved at high speed towards Touma with both hands holding her sword in a pose that was ready to stab Touma. And when her Shichiten Shichitou sword pierced Touma's body in the non-vital part, Kaori didn't feel the stab at all.

Because all he stabbed was the After Image that Touma created using the combined technique of Chestnuts Roasting Over an Open Fire Fist that he had learned in the past from Cologne and the flash step of Hiten Mitsurugi's Ryuu that he had learned from Hiko.

Touma appeared behind Kaori and pushed her a few meters away, using his palm that touched Kaori's shoulder.

Kaori felt that her shoulder had dislocated. And she was gnashing her teeth to endure the pain in her shoulder, Kaori wanted to use god breaker mode and kill Touma in an instant. But Kaori realized that if she used that technique, she wouldn't be able to achieve her goal. After all Kaori felt that using a god breaker against ordinary humans was taboo so she wouldn't use that mode unless she had to.

Before Kaori could recover her shoulders, Touma was once again appear in front of her and this time Touma stabbed his left finger into the concrete floor and caused the concrete floor to shatter so the shards from the concrete floor spread out and hit Kaori's body.

Kaori who was distracted by the shards of concrete, which hit her body didn't notice that Touma was currently behind her and did several dozen chops to her brainstem in just one second to knock Kaori unconscious.

And Touma's attempt to distract Kaori using Bakusai Tenketsu to make Kaori faint was one hundred percent successful. Because right now Kaori was lying unconscious on the floor due to Touma's chop.

Looking at Kaori who was lying on the floor, Touma was relieved. Because he managed to defeat Kaori and Stiyl.

"Sigh those two are really troublesome, especially Kaori," Touma said whose right hand had returned to normal thanks to his vampire powers. "I'd better take the two of them to Yuragi Sou and lock them both in the dungeon until they regain consciousness."

Touma very easily carried Stiyl and Kaori's bodies on his shoulders, then descended from the roof of the building where he was fighting with Stiyl and Kaori back to Yuragi Sou.

What Touma didn't know was, Yukina saw Touma's hand which healed in an instant using special binoculars that could see through the human barrier set up by Kaori and Stiyl from the roof of the building a hundred meters from the building where Stiyl and Kaori were watching Yuragi Sou. And Yukina finally finds out that Touma is really a vampire just as his superiors said...
