An Opening
A year had passed, and yet Hajime still recognized the face of the man who killed his parents. Even without his mask on, Hajime could tell that he was the one who got out of the truck as soon as it rammed their family's car. It was because of him that Hajime's life fell apart. Because of him, Hajime lost his entire family in a snap of a finger.
All that contempt and hatred channeled through Hajime's hand as he pressed the taser even harder at Ricardo's leg. His teeth gnashed while the electricity got the better of him, he started seeing sparks in his gaze, but the taser didn't knock him out. Somehow he managed to keep himself awake through sheer willpower alone.
