Chapter 6

Though Sasha didn’t remember much about Daniel from school, being with Daniel now was like hanging out with an old friend. Daniel was easy to talk to, and he seemed happy to show Sasha around.

It was a Saturday, and Sasha asked Daniel if he had any plans that evening. Daniel had been at the museum on his own, much like Sasha had.

“Actually, I’m meeting some friends later for a drink,” Daniel said. “Uh, it’s in a bar and club, but maybe…I mean, do you want to hang out? Are you free tonight?”

Sasha smiled hopefully. “I have no plans. Are you sure I won’t be crashing your evening?”

“No!” Daniel exclaimed, and laughed. “Not at all! Uh, the only thing is…it’s a gay bar. Well, it’s gay friendly, you know, everyone is welcome. But if that’s not, uh, your thing…”

Sasha’s smile turned into a smirk. “It’s my thing. I would love to come with you.”

“Great!” Daniel said, beaming happily. “We can head up there now? Find a good spot.”

“Let’s go,” Sasha agreed.
