Sasha nodded. “There is. But first I need a working Visa.”

Daniel sighed. “That sucks. I always thought you were born here. You didn’t have much of an accent at school.”

Sasha huffed, rolling his eyes. “I didn’t exactly speak much at school.”

“Yeah, but when you did,” Daniel insisted, “you didn’t have much of an accent then.”

“I’m surprised you remember,” Sasha said.

“Told ya,” Daniel said proudly, “first gay crush. The pining was hard, believe me.”

Sasha smiled. “You’re hopeless.”

“Yeah, pretty much.” Daniel laughed too. “Don’t worry, I’m researching how to be less hopeless and up my game.”

“Oh?” Sasha asked. “How will you up your game?”

“When I figure that out, you’ll be the first to know,” Daniel promised.

Sasha giggled at that. “Then I look forward to it.” He turned over, careful not to steal all the covers. “Goodnight, Daniel.”

“Night, Sasha. Sleep well.”
