What Now I Have To Confess???

Asuka left his room, heading towards the training grounds, his eyes fixed on the map showing on his CAD.

The Black Dragon's training camp had five training grounds connected to five dorm buildings, and one main grand training hall at the very front of the administration building. Through the connected hallways, Asuka quickly made his way toward his building's training ground.

It was an open area, 1 km long and wide. Amidst the grassy land stood a huge stone platform, probably an area for duels. Like his mansion's training ground, there were wooden dolls and targets arranged for practice.

To the far left side was a gym, washroom, and a place to drink water.

After breathing in the fresh air and relaxing his body a bit, Asuka closed his eyes, focusing on his mana. "Now that I've awakened, I can feel mana in a better way."

He focused wind mana into his palm, attempting to form a wind ball, but before he could complete it, it suddenly vanished. "Not bad, now that my profession is swordmaster, that's the extent I can use magic, even with my affinity for wind mana."

Now focusing and channelling wind mana into his legs from his heart, Asuka completed the first form, the wind stance.

Noticing his growth, 'Because I've experienced being a mage, my innate control over mana is strong, or mastering this technique in such a short time wouldn't have been possible. It is quite critical.' Asuka thought.

Now, completing the compulsory step of the technique and gaining stability, for which this technique is famous, he then channelled, wind mana on his katana.

Unsheathing it in one swift diagonal slash, he created a visible wave of green-coloured mana, so fast that it cut through a wooden doll without making a single sound.

"Holy fuck! I didn't think it would get this powerful after infusing it with wind mana," Asuka let out a surprised gasp, as the same second form he had practised on the wooden doll at his mansion's training ground had barely scratched it before.

"This is already a destructive force for wind mana what if I use lightning mana instead of wind?" he mumbled before repeating the same steps, but this time with lightning mana. As visible lightning flowed throughout his body, Asuka made a quick movement, unsheathing his katana in one swift diagonal slash again.

*"Aaaah!"*

Suddenly, his right hand's bone broke, and he screamed in pain.

The slash was so strong that it erupted the entire ground, Upon contact with another wooden doll, the doll exploded with a loud noise, even though it was made of wood.

Supporting his broken arm, Asuka watched in surprise. Though a failure, the amount of sheer destructive force was on another level.

This technique's main essence was balance and harmony, utilised through wind mana, but using lightning changed the whole foundation, giving a powerful backslash.

"That backslash is a real pain, but this can work as my secret weapon. With this type of damage, I can surely one-hit someone in same rank. This move can be a game-changer if used right," Asuka let out a sinister grin, despite his paining pain, making his face appeare more ugly.

*Ding*

A notification popped up on his CAD. Clicking on it, a bright blue screen appeared.

[Standing Wind (Rare): Minor Mastery --> Intermediate Mastery.]

As Asuka was reading the notification, Suddenly a loud voice called out to him.

"Son of Volford!"

Still supporting his right hand, Asuka turned back to find a black-haired boy with black ear piercings approaching him.

The boy came closer and threw Asuka a glass containing a blue liquid. "Here, take this. It's a low-grade healing potion, but it should be enough for your injury."

Without wasting a moment, Asuka poured the potion over his right hand. True to its name, his broken bone, injured just a moment ago, was now fully healed.

Looking at the boy and stretching his hand a bit, Asuka asked, "So who are you?"

"Hmm, I thought I was pretty popular. Well, I'm the little brother of the Crazy Monk. Maybe you've heard of him? My name is Aang."

"Yeah, I do know him."

"Is that so? Well, anyway, that girl is devastating in the exams. Man, you're so fucked."

Asuka frowned, giving Aang a cold look. "If you're here to taunt me and fool around, please do that some other time. I'm busy today."

"Busy doing what? With just this much strength, you won't be able to silence anyone." with a cocky grin, he looked down at Asuka he in a bossy way.

"Oh, I have an idea. Why don't you just kneel down and beg for mercy? Maybe she'll let you go." He chuckled playfully.

"Now, if you've satisfied your boredom, can you leave me alone?" Asuka said in an emotionless voice, turning around to resume practising.

"Hey, I have an offer for you then. If you can even land a single scratch on me, I will give you my support,"

Turning back with a smirk, Asuka replied, "Now finally you said something worth listening to. Of course, I'll take the offer."

Asuka and Aang quickly moved towards the raised platform, taking their distance.

Aang spoke with a playful voice, "But if you lose, I want you to propose to Jane. Do you agree?" He grinned.

Asuka let out a laugh. "Well, if that happens, it would be fun to watch, right? Who cares if I end up dead." He let out a sarcastic chuckle, shaking his head. "I accept!"

Their eyes locked in a silent agreement.

"Though disgusting, you're still a man. I like that. Now come." Aang signalled the start with a mocking wave of his hand.

Asuka quickly took the Wind Stance. 'Should I use my lightning mana?' he pondered. 'No, that's too risky. I can't reveal my hidden card just yet.'

Instead, he channelled his wind mana, feeling it surge through his body.

"Don't you need any weapon?" Asuka asked.

"No, my profession is Monk."

With a fierce glare, Asuka lashed out forcefully, unsheathing his katana. "Second Form: Wind Gale!"

A green-coloured strike sped towards Aang, with more speed than before, even reverberating in the air.

"Wow, that was smooth. Now that my proficiency has reached Intermediate, it feels lot more powerful than before. What an easy win."

Just before the wind's diagonal strike could impact, Aang's lips widened into a cocky grin, as his whole body turned grey.

Clang! Clang!

The strike hit Aang, but instead of wounding him, it bounced off with a metallic ring. He stepped closer, unscathed and still grinning.
