Mother Mikaelson Meets Caroline.

Esther Mikaelson stood on the street, staring at the sign that said,

"Welcome to Mystic Falls."

She knew exactly what she had to do. Her vampire\hybrid children were ruining her life. She hadn't had a moment to live her own life in a thousand years. She had found out she couldn't kill them. She needed a new plan and she had one. The plan involved a certain blonde girl who lived miles away from New Orleans, and right here in Mystic Falls.

She shuddered as she stepped inside the bounds of the modern town that was once her home. A home she had loved and cherished…..for the most time.

After only a few minutes of walking she stood before the Salvatore School. She opened the door and stepped in.

"Hello??" A voice spoke. "Can I help you?"

Caroline Forbes-Salvatore stood at the top of the staircase, she had theard the door open from her office. There was no one at school since it was summer vacation. She was sorting out paperwork before she went on her own little vacation, which was going to Europe to see a site for her new abroad campus.

"Esther Mikaelson." She stopped as she saw who it was.

"Caroline Forbes, I suppose." Esther smiled. "The woman who constantly rejects my Niklaus."

"Why are you here?" Caroline asked. Ignoring her comments.

"Didn't respond to my comment." Esther smirked. "Interesting."

"My personal life shouldn't be your concern." Caroline climbed down the last two steps of the staircase. "What I do is none of your business!

She was standing in front of the most powerful witch in the world. But, she wasn't scared.

"Now, I have better things to do than to listen to you." She turned around, "Close the door as you leave."

She started walking back to the stairs.

"Caroline!"

"What?" She turned around.

"You need to help me!" Esther said, pleadingly. "It is the Mikae...."

"No, stop." Caroline raised her hand. "I am going to stop you right there! I am not getting in the middle of a Mikaelson family feud."

"But…."

"No, no, no….no!" Caroline pointed a finger at her. "Hell, no! I have responsibilities now! I am not just leaving everything to help you or any other Mikaelson with their family!"

"Not even fo…"

"Go to therapy, for God sakes!"

"Not even for Niklaus?" Esther asked. "I think you owe a lot to my son. This place..is from his money, isn't it?"

"Yes, I do owe him a lot." Caroline's lip twitched softly. "But, no."

She shook her head.

"Not even for Klaus Mikaelson." She told Esther.

"Now, I thought I could convince you…." Esther raised her hand, "I didn't want to do this! But, you forced me."

She twisted her hand slightly and Caroline held her hands in her hands as she experienced a splitting headache.

"I am sorry." Esther had a grin on her face which reminded Caroline of Klaus, especially when he was planning something. "Not sorry."

She waved a hand and Caroline's neck snapped. She fell on the floor.

"That's great!" Esther smirked.

She waved a hand and Caroline's body disappeared.
