Chapter 11-2: The Restaurant of Memory

In the hallway, where there is no one. She began to contemplate the place with a sober expression amidst the stoic silence.

And without realizing it, she had already reached the second floor.

“Oh, excuse me!”

Suddenly, she collided with the figure of a large, burly man, and staggered backwards, Surprised.

From the intensity of the effect, she blinked in confusion, frowning while rubbing the red tip of her nose and sighing.

When she looked up and recognized the person, her pupils widened for a second in surprise before calming down.

“D-Dennis!” She stammered in a low whisper. Naturally, she didn't expect to meet him by chance here.

Looking at the young teenager’s slim and soft figure, the sweet feminine voice that created a contrast, and that familiar disguise, he wasn’t surprised.

“Are you crazy?!”

The girl who was in the same room with him immediately rushed towards her without warning, pushing her roughly, allowing her palm to reverberate as a strong and harsh slap to the face.

With her very slow and not fast steps, at most; Caroline could have gotten over her and even taught her a lesson, but that malicious flare of hers had interfered with her plans.

“How dare you bump into the commander-in-chief. Are you blind?” She scolded.

Given the stark mark her palm had inadvertently left behind, it clearly left a shock to the crowd that came out to see this farce.

However, in the next second, Dennis exploded like a frenzy and suddenly roared menacingly.

“Are you crazy?” “Get out of here!” He could barely contain himself.

Sydney almost gasped if she hadn’t controlled herself.

For a moment, she almost believed that she was the one concerned, if she had not met him with her father today.

In return, Caroline looked at her with stagnant eyes, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

“Excuse me. But… who are you?” She did not give her any weight.

Compared to her previous life, she barely knew a thing or two about Dennis’s relationships and the girls’ involved with him.

“Me?”

Sydney, the girl standing across from her had responded disapprovingly with a declared look of contempt.

“I’m Sydney Cavendish. Daughter of General Harold Cavendish”

“Then… didn’t you hear what he said? Get out of here after you apologize”

She said proudly, waiting for the appropriate reaction from the stumbling young man in front of her. However, I was quickly disillusioned with his stagnation.

“Oh! Yaa… that’s bad…”

'Of course that’s bad. You must feel afraid, you who resemble women!'

It was jealousy.

That sassy, smirking look sent a cold shiver along her spine, coinciding with her response.

“Miss Cavendish, for your information, this is my restaurant” “I am pleased that you have been placed on the blacklist of this restaurant chain for assaulting the manager”

She whispered in a soft, bored voice, looking at her with cold eyes in front of the audience.

“Haa!”

That was a warning.

She gestured towards the nearest waiter, then said coldly without a smile. “Call the security”

"Excuse me?”

At the same time that Sydney was realizing the embarrassing situation she had found herself in, security had already surrounded her and the man had come out.

“Wait! Stop. Don’t you know who I am?”

Mr. Harold, who didn't know where to hide his face because of this daughter, glared at the security and then at her.

He seemed amazed.

"Don't you know who I am?" She scoffed again.

It was clearly a blatant display of authority, but she didn't care. She did nothing, and this is not the era of the royal family.

As a result, he pulled his palm towards his face to wipe it, then sighed long and patiently.

"I'm sorry. But...can we solve this issue calmly inside the room?” He gestured modestly to the crowd, then to the room they were in earlier, and she raised an eyebrow.

"... My daughter has been spoiled enough and for a long time, she didn't mean to. Please" he hastily asserted, frustrated, and Sydney's features turned red with embarrassment amidst the pleading.

"Father?"

"However, you know... that the rules of this restaurant have always been clear and straightforward. Even if you are the boss, you have to abide by them!" She explained in a stern tone, looking at him.

She had talked too much.

“I know…” he sighed.

“Just randomly attacking someone in public just because they accidentally bumped into someone of status is also evidence of guilt”

“Then…” she thought for a moment, and threatened. “…Do you consider this place and everyone here as a joke?”

“Of course not…” he denied very firmly, while Dennis clenched his fists nervously.

He seemed very sincere.

Even the wealthy people and officials who usually came to order here, none of them actually dared to oppose.

'He knew it. He certainly recognized her...'

In the end, she had her own powers here too.

“Apologize”

Sydney, who suddenly heard Dennis angry again, immediately smiled and glowered at her with a look of vindictiveness.

“Didn’t you hear?” she replied.

"I apologize?" She snorted in grievance. She hasn't realized yet!

“I think you've misunderstood” Caroline, her expression showing no difference or looking at him, pointed it out with a bright smile.

When Sydney finally looked up at the father and then Dennis and the aggrieved crowd, she was shocked.

The first was upset with embarrassment, while the second almost killed her with his looks.

Suddenly, it became clear that she was the one! But, how? What's the reason? And why?!

“Forget it, if you have any objection, let’s meet in court”

Looking at the time, she interrupted the terrible atmosphere and then turned to leave.

“No! Wait”

“Big Boss…”

Mr. Cavendish, who had his own pride in the army, and his awe, could not bear this veiled statement of threat because of his looks and stopped her.

“Sidney” he turned towards his daughter, then roared urging her. “Where are your morals? Is this how you respect people?"

He had already realized Dennis's dumb trembling of anger, and pushed her forward without caring.

Her mistake was already in the first place.

"Dad!" She pursed her lips in disbelief.

“I’m sorry” Considering that the situation had come to this point, and she couldn’t evade it, she clenched her fists violently and muttered.

“Excuse me..?” “I didn’t hear” Ki-Ki raised an eyebrow with an innocent look, looking at her with a dangerous expression.

“You..!!”
