Chapter 7

Sierra's POV

I thought that Sampson would have more issues with our new living arrangements. He had none, not a one. He picked his spot and was out like a light. When I woke up he was still sleeping, four paws up and snoring. I can't complain. I slept well too but damn I hate my new position.

Sitting at my new desk in front of Jin's office. I looked as out of place as I felt. Jin told me I would have to do much more than remind him of his schedule. You make sure he isn't late for meetings or whatever. I don't mind running out to get Jin's lunch or coffee, but setting up the meeting room is just stupid. What are they, toddlers? Go in the room find a flipping chair and sit in it. These fully functional adults act like they can't function without snacks.

The other employees on this floor are getting on my nerves. I swear if one more person gives me the side-eye I am gonna catch a case. These people assume they know who I am. They are about to meet the me I thought I left in the states if they keep playing. Not to mention this computer and its flashing lights. Yes, I know it means someone wants something but I don't want to do it.

After taking a calming sip of my warm honey-lemon water I check my email to see what he might want now. Sometimes being a personal assistant feels more like being his maid. I can't imagine he needs any more help with his phone. Since he didn't want it to look like he got a new phone We spent the better part of the morning going over the basics. He just wants food. I have no idea where he puts it all. I swear all he does is eat. I place an order for a nice salad and gimbap. Getting up I go into his office. Seems like a great time to stretch my legs as I see some women walk up.

Jin looks up as soon as I walk in. "Where's lunch?" He looks from my empty hands to my face ad back again. I can tell he is a little confused.

"I order something it should be here shortly." He drops his head and rubs the bridge of his nose before looking up again. When he looks up he has a rather unimpressed look on his face. If I didn't know any better I would be scared. But I know better he is just hungry again.

"Will you please just go get me something to eat. There is no way I am going to make it through this meeting without it." Seriously there are snacks in the room and he ate like three hours ago. The fact that I almost laughed reminds me how unqualified I am for this job.

"No problem what can I get for you?" I ask smiling politely.

"At this point, I don't care. Just something quick and easy to eat." Nodding I grab the company card from his hand and leave his office.

On my way out of the elevator, I see a man that looks off. I mean he is in a suit like everyone else but something about him is off. I watch him get into the elevator and head up. I turn to hurry and get him some food so I can get back to my seat cause now it feels off in here.

"Hello, Ms. Sierra. Looking beautiful as always." I have never been happier to see Mr. Choi. He is the older gentleman that runs the shop I like to order from.

"Thank you. Is your grandson back at college?" I like him but it makes me nervous to sew him running the orders. He has other people that can do it.

"Nope, he is doing a different delivery. My son thinks I need fresh air. So he is in the kitchen. But don't worry I made your food." I laugh with him before tipping him and sending him off with a hug and a promise to see him later.

Jin's POV

Sierra was not lying when she said she wasn't qualified for this job. I have been sending her things to do all day and I'm sure none of it is done. Hell, she hasn't even bothered to respond or read most of them. I have a meeting in thirty minutes and she decides to order take out. I guess I will have something for later then.

Looking on the bright side she looks amazing. Her look is simple, classic, and sexy as hell. A knee-length black pencil skirt, white button-down shirt with silver buttons. Tying it all together is her black stilettos with the silver bows on the back and silver hoop earrings. The silver bow pins in her hair match the ones on her shoes. I must admit my favorite is the silver chain belt at her waist. She definitely looks more qualified than she is.

A few minutes after Sierra walks out of my office a man walks in. He looks like an employee In his dark slacks and basic white button-down. He sits in the seat in front of my desk and looks at me. I can already tell I don't like him.

"Who are you and what do you want?" No need to beat around the bush. I already don't like him and I don't care if he knows it or not. I still don't know how he even made it to my floor. You need a special keycard or to be buzzed up.

"You have something that belongs to my boss. He wants it back." Looking him up and down. I can see he is dressed decent but he is a thug. I can tell by the scars on his hands. He is used to fighting and intimidating people. Well, I am not the one. He clearly has no idea who the fuck I am.

"I don't know who you or your boss are. You can leave now and tell your boss to make an appointment. We can talk then. I'm busy show yourself out" I stand up and so does he. He walks towards me with a sadistic smile on his face. I am not scared and I do not move.

I guess he could tell he wasn't getting to me because he leveled a Glock 45 at me. "I guess we are going to do this the hard way then." Smiling and eyeing me up and down. "I want the listening device back that you ha pulled from your office." He cocks the gun as he speaks, but that is all he got to do. Before either of us was able to process what was going on his arm was pinned to the wall by two silver stiletto knives.

We both turned to the door and standing there looking sexy as hell is Sierra. She is at the ready with another blade with a bow that looks suspiciously like the one from her shoes. She had him pinned to the wall with a blade at the shoulder and another at his wrist.

"It is rude to show up uninvited, pointing guns at people." While she spoke I removed the gun from his hand and dropped it on my desk away from him. He made a move to get it back but stopped short when she began to speak again.

"I wouldn't move if I were you." Judging by the new part he is sporting above his ear and the blood by his wrist. That is good advice.

"Thank you, Sierra. We need to talk later about why you have so many knives." She just looks at me. I know it is gonna take some work to get the information from her. Good, I am not afraid of a little hard work.

"Who do you work for?" Guns are hard to get here and this one is American. It was most likely stolen.

With his sadistic smile firmly in place. He looks at Sierra and then me, before saying. "Fuck you and your bitch." That was the wrong answer. Sierra threw another knife and it landed by his nose.

"Be respectful. If you disrespect me again you will leave here missing something you came in with." He quickly crossed his legs and I made a mental note to watch her. I'm sure he can't appreciate it but it is a thing of beauty to watch her throw. The knife is just like her delicate and deadly. She is a dangerous woman and I need to find out more about her.

"Well, I don't have time for you." I send a quick text on my phone and then looked to Sierra. "Can I have my lunch please?" She shakes her head but walks it over to me. I notice it Is from the little shop she lies to order from. Opening the bag I notice she did a good job choosing. The salad I could do without but the Gimbap looks perfect.

Walking back to her spot without taking her eyes off of him she asks, " What about him?" Sierra motions towards him with her head. As I finished up a bite of food Jimin tapped on the wall next to my door. He standing there with two guys.

"When did you get these, Jin? Very cute, a little feminine though don't you think?" He held up a knife he from by dudes nose. "Not mine. Those belong to Sierra." That caught his attention and I recognized the look on his face. I don't like it.

"There is beauty in everything just not everybody sees it." Park Jimin
