Jin's POV
"Sierra, this is my brother Jimin. Jimin this is my new assistant. Behave yourself." Jimin walked to her and took her hand and kissed her knuckle. "Nice to meet you, Sierra. I hope my brother has been treating you well. If not I can assure you you will always have a job." I slapped him in the back of his head.
"She is fine where she is and treated very well. Now stop hitting on my assistant." I snatched her blades from him and pass them to her. She begins to replace them in the back of her shoes.
"Damn, hidden in plain sight. That is fucking sexy." I wanted to hit him again but I couldn't because he's right. She replaced the ones in her hair. I wonder how the hell she can walk around with a blade in her hair. She looks at me with that knowing look and just smiles.
Pulling myself together I look to her and ask, "Can you see what you get off his phone for me Sierra? Since he doesn't want to talk." She nodded and I snatched it from his pocket.
"You need a warrant for that you stupid bitch." She smiled and took the phone from me and sat at my desk. "Did you have a warrant when you came into my office and threatened me? Did your boss have one to place a bug in my office?" I nodded my head, "Just as I thought. Please continue Sierra."
She left my office to get whatever it was she needed. I took the opportunity to punch him in the face. "That is not how you talk to a lady." He just gave me a dirty look and spit blood on my floor. What else was he going to do with Jimin's men holding him?
"You know Joon is back and he can look into the phone for you." I nodded. "Yes I know but Sierra is here now. I want to know who the hell is behind this now." Jimin turns and his eyes follow her until she sits behind my desk. I hate that it bothers me when he looks at her like that. I want to be the only person that looks at her like that.
"Dude has an iPhone. I'll be in a second." She connects the cord to my computer and hits a few keys and up pops some sort of menu. She walked over to him and grabbed his thumb and placed it on the scanner. True to her word she was in his system in less than a minute. Honestly watching her do it brings it home how someone was able to get into my phone. I mean she didn't even use anything special. Just a cord.
"This bitch only needs to be within a few feet of your phone to be able to access it. The cord is just because your battery is dying." She scrolls through some of his contacts and messages. After she plugs the phone in to charge it everything she is looking at shows up on my computer screen.
"GET OUT OF MY PHONE!!" He struggled against the men holding him. Not that it helped. All he got for his struggles was Jimin poking him behind his knee. It had the effect of making him scream and kneel.
"Have some dignity, Man. If you would have simply told them what they wanted to know we would have left already. Make no mistake you will tell me everything you know soon."
Sierra's POV
"I think I found who he works for." Jin and Jimin rushed over to the computer screen. I pulled up the text messages. "Looks like he works for a Mr. Lee But his contact here is Mr. Cho." I have no idea who Mr. Lee is but I can tell they know. Jin presses a button on his desk and asks security to bring Mr. Choi here.
"Well, this is my sign to leave. Call me if you need help with Choi." Jimin kissed my hand again on his way out. I swear I heard Jin growl as he left. I quickly pull everything from his phone and put it on a thumb drive. So maybe their friend Joon will have a use for it.
Handing the drive to Jin and he passed it to Jimin. As I begin to shut down the screens I opened on his computer and check to make sure there was no trojan virus loaded on it. "It has been years since I needed to throw a knife for anything other than sport." I look up to see him rolling his eyes.
"Ma'am no one throws knives like that for fun. Where did you learn to throw like that?" I made a promise to myself when I came here that I would never go back to a life that required me to hurt or kill anyone.
"Something I learned as a kid, you know like hacking." I smiled hoping he would leave it alone. No such luck. "Who raised you Frank Beltrame?" Smiling I shake my head and head back to my desk. What I didn't tell him is that he would have probably been a much better father.
After what felt like an eternity it was time to go. I missed my baby Sampson and can't wait to see him. As we walked through the building I received many dirty looks and it is getting on my nerves. Mostly from my female co-workers but some of the men too. I don't think I have actually even met most of these people. There was already a woman on the elevator when we got on. She was all smiles until Jin turned his back. As soon as he turned I swear she mouthed the word whore.
I couldn't get away from her fast enough. It had to be the longest ride ever as she texted someone and giggled the whole ride. I almost ran Jin over trying to get out. Jin looks at me and smiles. "In a rush to get home to Sampson?" His phone makes a noise and he pulls it out of his pockets. I knew whatever he saw it wasn't good.
He places his hand on my shoulder and says, "We need to head to the I.T. department right away." We turned and got back on the elevator. How the man managed to look so sexy while he is pissed is beyond me.
"Problem?" He looked at me and said, "Joon is remotely checking my servers to make sure everything is OK. And he found a device that is updating Mr. Lee in real-time." Something in his tone as he was speaking just did it for me. I like a powerful man I mean who doesn't. I know he's pissed and I would like to help him relieve that. As we walked off the elevator again I felt all eyes on me.
"Jin do you know why these people keep looking at me?" I asked him as we headed to Mr. Cho's office. He looked around at them and I guess he didn't see a thing wrong. "I'm not surprised they are looking at you. You are beautiful." I rolled my eyes. Self-confidence is not something I lack. But I know the difference between someone admiring me and someone that can't stand me. These people are the latter.
"You'll get used to Sierra. Looking at people that look good makes others feel good. Don't worry about it." If that isn't the most conceited shit I've ever heard. He's right though, I am happy to just look at him. When I make it to my old desk I begin to look around for the device. It takes me away from Mr. Beautiful and the apparent protection he was giving me.
No sooner than I walk into the office when a woman walks in and closes the door. Without looking up I ask, "Who are you and what do you want?" I have no time to be messing with these messy people. We need to find the device so I can go home to my dog. I am so over the people in this company and I do care if she can hear it in my voice. Hopefully, it will make her hurry up and finish her business with me.
"My name is Lynn and I just wanted to know how long you have been sucking his dick to get this position?" OK she had my attention. I never thought that anyone in here would be so bold. She was actually smiling when I look over at her. This nasty bitch is about to end up on the wrong end of my blade.
"Excuse me? What the hell kind of question is that? And even if I am what's it to you?" This right here is why I don't have friends.
