“I’ve always been athletic. I did gymnastics when I was young and I love to rock climb. I’ve always been a climber. My father used to call me ‘monkey.’”

Everyone laughed.

“After the first demo in San Francisco, I figured I’d never see her again but she called me a few weeks later and asked me to help with a demo in Portland, Oregon. After that demo, Joō-sama Yuriko and I sat and talked. She did a scene that night and it was the first time I had ever come away from a scene totally satisfied. The next day, she said she wanted me to be her slave and demonstration model but that I’d have to think about it very carefully for at least a month. She sent me the contract and told me to read it thoroughly. She also sent me a “to do” list. At the top of the list was to have a complete physical and to sell or get rid of everything I owned. I could keep only one set of clothing that I’d wear on the plane to get out there.”

“You could do that?” The audience was amazed.
