Aftermath

A long circular table is placed in the middle of a spacious room. Twelve chairs were placed on it yet five people were only present, sitting wherever they wanted.

Those five people have only been staring at each other, looking at the people present. The other vacant seats are either away or on a leave from the meeting.

After the long silence, Six started to speak by saying, "That really surprised me. Seven just wakes me up, telling me the tutorial was finished when a week was only passed. A week!"

Six was in disbelief before continuing, "I didn't believe it at first because it sounds absurd but here we are, in a meeting with each other. Sigh, it was really finished."

"I know it is finished, but the plan is still the same." Two spoke with a reassuring voice as he look at the other four people present, "Nothing had changed, really."

Seven nodded and asked with confirmation. "If it didn't change, me and Six would just enter right and kidnapped those rookies, since they completed it much faster than we expected."

"Yes, we'll do it. It's hard to get the rookies when they're outside. We must get them as fast as possible." Two spoke, agreeing at Seven, "The kingdoms are also excited and started preparing the stadium for them. I knew that it is a sign that the tutorial is already finished."

Two paused as she let out a sigh from her mouth, "I saw it a day ago that the stadium is already open and they do work to their very best just to welcome the rookies when they're out. Really funny."

"Don't stay out of the topic, Two. Saying your entire plan is going smoothly when Caval didn't take much damage. Pft, how funny." A woman spoke in a mocking tone, directed to Two.

She had long black curly hair, white lips without any improvises, and a gorgeous face to add her quality as a woman.

Haring the woman's voice, Two formed a frown on her face as she moved her gaze at Five.

Being stared at, Five stared back as she didn't show a slight fear while she received that gaze.

Thus, the two started to have a staring match on each other with the atmosphere from the room turning heavy.

"Glaring at me like that… do you really want to die?" Two threatened.

"Kill me? You know how important am I right? You bitch." Five retorts back with a scoff.

"We can just find someone to replace and discard you. Well, after all, I'm stronger than you. Who would do something as crazy to kill me?" Two spoke in a confident voice before continuing with a smirk, "Besides, I know boss wouldn't discard me."

"Hey wanna go? I'll kill you instantly." Five spoke with an annoyed tone before also giving a smirk to Two, "No use of Inheritance. Just use your Attribute on it because it is... really weak. Hahaha!"

"You...!" Two spoke with an enraged tone and were about to agree to duel Five, but soon stopped when someone had interfered with their heated argument.

"So, is this meeting about you two arguing? If it is, I'll be just wasting my time here." The man who was quiet all the time had finally spoken, sensing that the meeting will only lead to that.

The man who talked was in his late twenties. He had a good body build with his facial features are average. His eyes were glowing red and a sword at his side, which is gifted by their boss.

Whoosh!

After the man had spoken, the man releases his aura and the two who felt it, switched their attention to his.

With a frown on her face, Two said with an annoyed tone, "Don't you dare meddle here, Nine. I need to kill this bitch right now. She's really getting on my nerves."

Nine instantly stopped his aura to go out as he began to look at the two helplessly. He then said, "I'm leaving now, Two. You and Five are already adults. Whatever problems you have with each other, don't bring others into this. Wasting everyone's time."

Nine let out a sigh and said, "Looks like this meeting is only nonsense."

Sighing, Nine began to stand up from his seat with Seven and Six following him, not also wanting to see the bickering of Two and Five.

'Four will be here soon. I should greet her when she comes. Oh, how I miss you, Four!' Seven mused inwardly while forming a faint smile on his face.

As the three leaves from their seats and were about to go out of the room, they were stopped when someone shouted at them.

"Wait!" Two shouted and everyone inside the room was left frozen.

No, they were stopped forcibly by her, preventing them move even an inch.

"This is really annoying..." Nine muttered under his breath before clicking his tongue, "Let us go, Two. I wasted my two-day trip just to get here and I have enough."

Nine let out a sigh from her mouth before glancing half of his head at Two, "Please, just assign me some task left there."

"Ok, ok! I'll tell you now." Two spoke before continuing, "All of you, please sit down properly."

The other four inside quickly followed her. To b exact, they were forced to sit down.

They knew Two is using her powers right now to force them but all they could do was follow, as there was just no way to fight it.

"Ok let's begin." Two spoke with her playful aura completely gone before she continued with a serious tone, "There are many things to do right now but first is what we are asked for. Yes, you knew what it is. Continue finding it as it was Boss's order—"

Two started to discuss things she was asked for. Telling the things that are needed and leaving the things that aren't.

"Guildmaster! I still couldn't believe it at first but the tutorial is really finished. And, it was also great as the kingdom have the right to first pick this time. We'll just send some mail to them and show how great our guild is."

In a moving carriage, one man in his late twenties is conversing with another man beside him, who is in his mid-thirties.

"Great? In the past, Tim. They're now many good guilds out there and choosing a demoting guild is such a waste of time and opportunities, you know? We can just hope that the other guilds in the kingdom and even some guild outside, will have mercy from fishing talents and leave some on us."

The other man smiled sadly at the man named Tim.

"Well, guild master! Don't be like that!" Tim spoke with a reassuring tone, "You're one of the few Swordmaster on the whole continent. If you showed them your skills in using it, many will come to us. I believe it."

"That was years ago Tim. I think that my skills have been rotten already."

"That's not true, guild master! I think you're still the same when you're in prime and I believe one day, our guild will come to the time when we're far from problems that are happening to us currently."

The man chuckled upon hearing the reply before forming a smile on his face, "Do you really believe that?"

Tim smiled widely before replying back enthusiastically, "I'm very sure of it, Sir Colton!"

A man inside the room was lying was down on his bed while being guarded by two beauties.

It is no other than the lucky Gin.

The two and the others have been waiting for almost one and half a day now for Gin to wake up when he fainted. As the hours passed, the more they get anxious but a pained groan let out their worries disappear.

"Ugh."

It didn't escape the eyes and ears of the two ladies as they have been watching him from time to time, only to see something more like good news to them.

After Gin fainted, the two volunteered to watch Gin. Nash agreed with them unhesitantly and let the two do the job.

"Ugh."

Hearing the pained groan once more, the two ladies were in a state of happiness before they called someone outside the room.

"Nash!"

Nash, who was outside, heard the shout from the room and quickly moved inside. The group saw his movements also followed him towards the room.

Creak!

The group swiftly moves inside one after another and encircle Gin's bed.

At the side, Jasmin didn't idle around and quickly tell Gin's condition, "Although I'm happy that uncle showed some movements, I'm still having doubts inside my head. I know that you know what this is, Nash but he's still burning all over his body. I-it's just scary you know."

After the battle with the last monster, they checked Gin's condition and could tell by touch that he was having a severe fever.

They were all nervous as the hotness inside was just too much. He was like a sleeping sun.

But all of them reassured them that it is some kind of mana drain while also lying about it as it wasn't the case in the first place.

He didn't tell them that Gin had used soul energy because they will be more worried and it wasn't mana drain all along but soul drain, which would lead to a lot of questions later and Nash knew he wasn't good about it

Nash was also worried about Gin but thanks to his expressionless face, the group couldn't tell if he is. Still, he closes his distance into his and used his hands to check his condition currently.

Feeling the temperature decreasing, Nash sighed in relief before saying, "He is slowly healing himself and any minute now, he will wake up. Meaning, he is getting better and better. We should just let him be and level the two ladies to guard him."

The group's face brightened up and followed Nash's suggestion to let him be. The group started to leave the room with a relieved feeling.

Tak!

While walking, Nash could feel someone on his back and knew who it was as the person is trying to match his pace, intending to match Nash.

Seeing that it was the case, Nash walk slower and glanced half of his head only to see Laura's disappointed face.

Laura looked forward as she together walked with Nash, before speaking in a disappointed tone, "Looks like I will have to learn many. I'm sorry about not healing him. It's just I can't do it."

She let out an upset sigh from her mouth before continuing, "My job is support but it is the same as a healer, isn't it? Well, if it is then even that simple mana drain is already too hard for me. I can't even do a simple thing..."

Laura stops speaking as she continued to silently walk in the clean surroundings together with Nash.

Hearing how hurt Laura was in the situation, Nash stopped in his tracks before giving her a few words, "Don't discourage yourself, Laura. I know you're an expert on supporting but it is just much more different from a true healer."

Nash paused, "But Gin's condition is different this time. No need for you to stress things that are only a little to be worried about."

"Don't let it get your mind." Nash ended his words before continuing, "We are all tired from the trial. You should rest together with Grey and Jia."

Hearing the words from Nash, Laura put a smile on her face she can muster before giving him a nod, "I see. Thank you, Nash."

After saying goodbye to each other, Laura began to leave Nash alone as she goes towards where Grey and Jia are chilling.

As Nash looked at Laura's back when she leaves, he let out a tired sigh from his mouth.

Standing alone from the place, Nash began to think about various things inside his head, 'Is this good? I'm not late, right? Pheww, if it is then it is good. I could start with this tone."

Nash then looked above from the place and a faint angry expression was placed on his face, 'Seats... I don't care what are you guys thinking but... I will take you all down. All of you will die. The sooner the better.'

He paused as he clenched his fist, 'Especially you, One... I will kill you with my own hands. First, I will get stronger to kill you. After that... sigh, what a pain.'

He holds the bridge of his nose and calms his mind again. He started to walk once more towards where the rewards had been dropped and see if there are some valuable things left from it.

Upon arriving, Nash used his eyes to scan the rewards where lots of gold and items are mixed together. He wasn't minding those things as he keep checking goods he can acquire, like the sword on his side.

It had the sharpest blade out of all the swords from the rewards.

The group had also picked the items they like and got for. After all of them had chosen items, they kept them to themselves while feeling happy about it.

Remembering those moments yesterday, Nash then touched the scabbard of his sword before he continued to look at the rewards.

Golds are falling with metallic sounds as he finds goods from the rewards and after some time finding, he narrowed his eyes at the book that piqued his eyes.

He swiftly gets the book from the rewards, seeing its title and its rank of it.

[Incomplete-Soul Book] [Master-Rank] [Category: Item]

[Description: The book is made by the Soul Expert Briton. Reading this book will give the soul user more advanced learning of soul. Find the full book made by Soul Expert Briton to understand more or go beyond what he had made.]

Nash formed a smile on his face after reading the book's title and description. He mused, 'This will be good for Gin who uses his soul as his weapon. He's going to like this.'

Nash paused, 'By the way, Gin is really good at using his soul. Does he have a book similar to this or he's just smart? Really, I don't know what to say anymore.'

Nash gets the book as he keeps it to his available pocket while having a thought entering his mind, 'Hmm, now that I think about it, I didn't meet someone as powerful as Gin... Did I know someone that uses that element? Hmm, I would've known by now if I knew him.'

Thinking that he had not met someone that uses black iron as good as Gin, Nash stopped his thoughts before arranging his tattered clothes.

After a few tapping his clothes, Nash began to stand up and look at the rewards once again.

His eyes moved at one item and were about to check what it was when he was stopped, after hearing Kisha shouting in a happy tone.

"Everyone! Gin is waking up!"
