Strange Feeling

Aaron felt the air shift as a shiver went down his spine. Something wasn't quite right. It was almost as if someone had been altered, although he couldn't say in what way. Monument stared at Aaron with a strange look on his face as Aaron pondered what the fuck was going on. "Monument, did you notice that shift in the atmosphere?" Aaron asked Monument, trying to see if he noticed anything, but was met with a plain "No, I didn't" from Monument.

Aaron was curious as to what it was and began to think of all the possibilities of what could have happened, such as someone's seal breaking, a large ability explosion or a Guardian just yawning too hard. If any of them were true, he was going to laugh. Aaron looked into the distance and saw nothing but green and shiny fields of grass coated in the moonlight. Aaron was curious as to how the other guardians looked, as, according to Monument, they aren't nearly as sane as Monument. He didn't know what they would be able to do, meaning that their abilities, except their elements, would be hidden until they were used in any sense of the term.

Aaron looked into the distance once more and asked Monument another question this one is a question he's asked a few times before now, just with a slight variation. "Hey, Monument? Where is the closest Superior Guardian? I want to see if they are as strong as you." Aaron asked, trying to see what Monument would reply with. Surprisingly enough, Monument pointed towards a mountain. "Past those mountains is a country called Flameroyle. If you go straight over that mountain, you can't miss it." Monument stated, watching as Aaron lifted up his hand. He didn't know what Aaron was about to do, so he braced himself for any incoming impact. Aaron swung his arm down, turning to the side as he did so. Using his Momentum, he rushed forward, increasing his speed by a decent amount. Say ten thousand meters per second, as he increased his durability enough so that he didn't get murdered by that speed. Aaron wanted to see what was on the other side of the mountain and did what every respectable human being would do.

He ran right through the mountain. You know, just your average daily commute to fight one of the most powerful people on the planet. An average Tuesday, if you will.

Aaron was gone for two seconds, and then he was back. During that time, he had busted through multiple mountains, ran at many thousands of kilometres per hour, destroyed a few villages by sheer force of habit, just to see if he still had it going for him, and he also just, you know, found out where the Supreme Fire Guardian of Flameroyle was. They lived in quite an impressive place. "Found it!" Arron stated with a grin on his face. He wanted to go inside.

Monument was dumbstruck. He just saw something that he could never hope to achieve. Aaron has just run through mountains and found the base of the Superior Fire Guardianin two seconds. It was pretty impressive, given that now they didn't have to go searching for their home once they got to Flameroyle. This is when Monument felt Aaron grab his arm as he prepared to sprint away once more. Aaron sprinted forward, creating a crater behind him as Monument was pulled along behind him.

The Flameroylesoldiers were training in the barracks, making sure they got themselves ready for the upcoming marches. They were finally going to take over the kingdom of Sperta and claim their fertile lands. If they weren't prepared with everything that they needed, they would just be planning for failure. It was a fate set in stone. One worse than death. As for if they failed, they were sure to get stones thrown at their bare skin or be forced under the eyes of the executioner.

Corru, the army officer, marched out from a side building, watching as the soldiers stopped what they were doing and saluted him. He was just trying to keep them on guard. He was good that way. He was also there to deliver a speech, but the second he had opened his mouth, a loud noise shook the barracks. It was almost like the world had been angered by the barracks themselves.

Corru and a few of the army soldiers went to go check out what the noise was, and all they could find was a large hole in the wall, with some of their equipment destroyed. They didn't know what was going on, but a second after arriving at the scene, the soldiers started to get cuts all along their bodies from an unknown assailant. All Corru could see was the soldiers screaming and then blood being flung across the air. All of the other soldiers came to check on the Officer, and they became subject to the same fate as the rest. Mysterious lacerations, but none on the commander. "An enemy raid?!" Corru yelled out, trying to figure out what was going on, but then he realised that it wouldn't be the best idea to kill the soldiers first if he was standing right there. It must be an indiscriminatory attack, and he was just lucky! Although, there were much bigger problems on their hands than simple luck issues.

He couldn't figure out what was happening to his soldiers. All he could see was lacerations appeared across their chests, almost as if an assassin had come to attack them. Corru couldn't see who was doing it or how it was done, but they were someone, or multiple people, who they shouldn't mess with unless they desire to stroke the face of death itself.

If Aaron was here to acknowledge the destruction he had done, he would be proud, but no, he's gone up to the Superior Flamer Guardian. Although, it still would have been cool for him to witness it.

Sorry for both failing to send a chapter yesterday and sending a repeat chapter of something today :)
