As evening drew close,
Becca’s attention shifted from the magazine in her hands to the door after hearing a knock, she sighed lowly as she closed the magazine in her hands and laid it on the table before she rose from her bed and walked to the door.
“Who is it?” she asked as she pushed the slide wooden doors open to see it was a maid standing before her with a dress in her hand.
“Oh.” Becca mouthed
“Mr. Kai asked me to bring this to you. He asked me to tell you also to start preparing for the party because he would be waiting for you downstairs” she said as she stretched the dress in her hands forth and the two other maids from behind held other accessories in their hands, the silver shoe she would be wearing to the party, her jewelries, her purse and every other thing she would need.
“He left this note for you too.” She said as she handed the small note to Becca to read.
