II.
Lily Valse waited, sitting at the stairs of a residential building. With her earphones in her ears and a red notebook on her knees, she took notes while rhythmically tapping the floor with her shoe.
Lily picked up her black hair from her eyes and after hitting her lips once or twice with the pen, she crossed out everything she had written so far and started again.
"I am ready," said a voice behind her. "We can go now."
"You took your time, didn't you?" Lily answered, without turning her head. Her purple eyes were focused on the thin paper.
"I'm sorry but some of us have calls to do"
Lily turned around and saw the woman behind her.
She had short, blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black shirt, jeans, and white shoes.
"So, Violette, where are we starting today?" Lily asked, while she stood off and took the dirt off her black pants and red jacket.
"I don't know yet. I'll decide as we take the road," Violette asked while looking for something in her purse. "Isn't art better when you let yourself go?"
"I guess."
Both walked out of the residential building and walked together towards a black car parked outside.
"And what happened with the musician we need?" Lily asked as she got in the codriver seat.
"Maybe we can find them today as well," Violette said with a big smile on her lips.
Once both got in the car, fastened her seatbelts, and Violette turned on the radio.
And just as she did, a pop song started ringing in the car.
"Ah," the blonde one simply said, raising her hand to change the radio station.
"Whatever. Leave it," Lily mumbled, stopping her. "I have to start getting comfortable with it. Plus, this is still money in my pocket."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
"As you wish then. Now, let's start talking about all the people we have to visit today."
Lily closed her eyes and nodded.
