That man stood and went to the stairs. He went to the downstairs. He saw a man whining there. It was Kai. "See I told you. You can't die today. Neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow.", That man said. 

Kai was in pain. He tried to get up. He had fallen from a height of the ten feet. But this height was not enough to kill him. "Am I cursed?", Kai asked. "No, boy you are not cursed. This is not the right time for you to die yet. Also, you are not using the good methods to die.", That man said.

He helped Kai to stand up. He took him out of the building. He examined Kai. "You are strong. You haven't broken any bone.", That man said. "Your engineers are the worst. Who does build a building like this? Your building sucks. You..", Kai wanted to complain more. 

But he looked around. He became conscious of his surroundings. He was sitting in his favorite car. It was a Bugatti Veyron 16.4. This was the most expensive car this year. Kai's dream was to sit in that car. His dream had finally come true but he was not happy at all.

"I'm not going to give up.", Kai said. "Come on, Kiddo. Who does kill themselves for a bad result? It is just a high school result. You can perform better in your college life.", That man said.

"College life, Who will give me admission to engineering college?", Kai shouted. "You can try other colleges. Are you that desperate to become an engineer than repeat your high school.", That man casually said.

"It is easy for you to say. You are rich. I don't want to be an engineer. My parents want to see me as an engineer. I wanted to fulfill their dream. Repeat the high school? Do you even know the tuition fees for a private high school? How could you know? You shitty silver spoon.", Kai shouted.

"Silver spoon? It sounds nice to hear it from you. Looks like my whole hard work has finally paid off. You can try to convince your parents.", That man said. "It's useless.", Kai said. He stood and left the car. 

"Hey, you are going to take your life. Best of luck. I won't stop you. Try it as many times as you want. But if you are not able to take your life. Come back to meet me. I'll be waiting for you on the same bridge. We had met before.", That man said.

Kai didn't respond and kept moving. "Did you hear me? Meet me again at that bridge. I can help you to take your life.", That man shouted.

Kai looked back raised his middle finger and mumbled something. That man didn't hear what Kai said. But he started to laugh. "He is really stubborn.", He said.

That man saw Kai disappearing on the dark road under the dim streetlights. He sat in his car and headed toward that bridge again. Kai kept walking. He was stumbling because of the pain. But he didn't stop. 

Kai reached the river under that bridge. He jumped in the river. He didn't hold his breath. He was drowning in the river. He felt suffocation. He couldn't breathe either. Kai was unconscious. When someone dragged him out. "Is it that man again? Why does he not leave me alone?", Kai thought. 

When Kai woke up. He was inside a small cottage. He tried to get up. He saw two men talking to each other. Kai looked at them. Neither of them was the man he had met before. They were strangers.

"Hey, kid. You know it's illegal to take your life. Man, life is always hard. Be strong.", One man said. "Did you save me?", Kai asked. "Yes, we did. We were passing by and saw you.", That man said.

"We should report this to the police.", The second man suggested. Kai got up and looked horrified. "You don't need to involve the police in this matter.", Kai pleaded to them.

"We also don't want to do this but what if you will try to take your life again? Your family should know about this.", The first man said with concern. Kai looked at him closely. He was not an old or middle-aged man. He was a young man in his twenties.

"Yes, your family should know about this.", The second man also agreed with this. "I can't tell my parents about this. They will be disappointed. I'm their only child.", Kai thought.

"You can meet my uncle.", Kai said. "Your uncle?", They said. Kai guided them to the bridge and wished for that person's presence. When they reached there. That strange man was sitting in the same place. Where they had met before.

He looked at Kai. Kai was wet. He had understood the situation. "Kai, what happened to you? Were you swimming this late? I've been waiting for you for centuries. Who are these people?", That man acted naturally.

"He must be a clown or award-winning actor.", Kai murmured. "Are you his uncle?", The first person asked. "Yes, I'm his uncle. Is everything alright? Did Kai do something wrong?", That strange man asked with worried expressions.

"My name is Ben. He is my friend Leo. We are college students. We saw him jumping in the river and saved him.", Ben, the first man told to them. "It's Mr. Cohen. I'm Kai's uncle. I apologize on his behalf.", That strange man said.

"You don't need to apologize. His parents must be very strict. That's why he was thinking of doing something this serious. Be lenient with him.", Ben said. 

"Yes, you are right. His mother, Clara is very strict. Don't worry. I'm here to help him.", Mr. Cohen said. "Kid, we have also been through this stage. Be a strong man and fight like a man.", Leo said this and they farewelled. 

Mr. Cohen offered to give them a treat but they apologized and excused them. Kai and Mr. Cohen were sitting alone on that bridge again. "Now, we are back to the first stage. See, you can't take your life yet.", Mr. Cohen said.

"Who are you? How do you know my mother's name?", Kai asked. "Oh, so your mother's name is Clara. It was a random name that popped out in my mind. It is a common name. No need to be suspicious.", Mr. Cohen said.

"No need to be suspicious. You are the most strange man. I've ever met. You even know our family name. You must be a gangster or stalker. What do you want from me?", Kai shouted at him.

"I want to help you.", Mr. Cohen calmly replied. "Help me. How? Are you going to pay my engineering college fees?", Kai asked.

"Your engineering college fee is your problem. But sorry kiddo. Why should I do this?", Mr. Cohen said. "Because you are rich.", Kai replied innocently. Mr. Cohen started to laugh hard. "I'm rich but Why should I waste my money on a person who doesn't want to be an engineer on his own wish? Being an engineer is not his passion but his parent's wish."

Kai was sulking at his innocence. He felt pathetic. "Then leave me alone.", Kai said. He was a mess right now. He was tired and wanted to rest. Mr. Cohen offered him honey bread. Kai looked at her suspiciously. It could be poisoned but Kai was hungry. He hadn't eaten anything since morning.

Kai took that bread. It was warm as it was baked freshly. Kai ate it and asked, "Then how are you going to help me?"

Mr. Cohen smiled and said, "I know that you are not going to give up on dying. Because you are a coward and a spoiled brat. Therefore, I'll give you a book which will guide you to take your life."
