07. Peace Conference in Another World

<Rias PoV>

It has been a few days since the incident with Kokabiel and his plot to restart the Great War.

After that day, everything went back to normal except when her older brother said they would hold a peace conference with the fallen angel, and angels.

But when i asked about the white-haired fallen angel who helped them, her older brother just told her to forget about that person.

He told her what happened after I fainted and when he revealed his name as Lucifer from another world and easily fought against her older brother.

Although everyone said that her older brother was the strongest devil, even stronger than the original Lucifer, this man easily defeated him.

Currently i was staring out the window in the occult club room alone because everyone else was busy with their own tasks.

And Issei was going to Akeno's place to retrieve Ascalon, the dragon slayer holy sword to enhance his power because at the moment Issei was really weak despite being the Red Dragon Emperor.

Since that day, I have started training to use my power of destruction... but my brother is always busy and doesn't have time to train me.

So, I am only trained by my mother.

So far, there has been no progress with my power of destruction, except that I can use it a little longer than before.

But as the leader of my peerage, I have a duty to protect them so whether I like it or not, I have to increase my strength.

And another thing I am doing is searching for the whereabouts of that man... I don't know why, but I have been wanting to meet him since I woke up, and I have been searching for him in various ways.

But so far, there has been no progress at all, it seems like they are in another dimension because if they were in this world, there might be panic especially because the man's name is Lucifer.

Other devils would surely be delighted to hear that, and I'm sure they wouldn't care if that Lucifer is from another world.

But as I was thinking, I suddenly saw a magic circle appear and shortly after, Grayfia appeared as usual with her maid-like demeanor.

"Rias-sama," Grayfia bowed to me, but since I was used to her maid fetish, I just responded as usual.

"Grayfia, it seems you have returned from Akeno Shrine, so did Issei get his Ascalon?"

"Yes, Rias-sama, the Red Dragon Emperor has gotten his Ascalon and is now performing a ritual together with Akeno-sama."

Hearing that, I just nodded and returned to looking out the window.

"Rias-sama... aren't you worried that Akeno-sama might succeed in winning the Red Dragon emperor heart before you?" Hearing that made me confused about what Grayfia meant.

I then turned to her with a confused look on my face, "What do you mean, Grayfia?"

"Didn't you like the Red Dragon Emperor? Weren't you even willing to give your virginity to him before?" Grayfia asked me with the same confused expression.

Hearing that made me remember the events of that night when I tried to give my virginity to Issei. It truly made me laugh while thinking about why I did something so foolish.

"Hahaha, Grayfia, I don't like Issei at all, and that incident was because I was very panicked and ended up doing something foolish, but luckily Issei was too hesitant and didn't accept me."

After listening to what I said, Grayfia fell silent and seemed to be thinking about something.

But eventually, Grayfia nodded and replied, "Alright, Rias-sama, in that case, it's time for us to return to Sirzechs-sama and start the discussion about the peace conference."

Hearing that, I nodded and stood up next to Grayfia, and Grayfia created a magic circle that sent the two of us to my older brother.

After the conversation between Rias and Sirzechs was over, Rias immediately left the place, but before she left, she made her brother promise to train her if he had the time.

Rias used a magic circle to return to her club room, leaving Grayfia and Sirzechs behind.

"So?" Sirzechs spoke seriously, unlike when Rias was present.

Hearing the tone of Sirzechs, Grayfia quickly went to stand in front of his desk and faced Sirzechs.

"As you suspected, Sirzechs-sama, it seems Rias-sama is no longer interested in the Red Dragon Emperor at all and is now looking for the whereabouts of the man named Lucifer."

Hearing that, Sirzechs held his forehead with his hand because he had told Rias not to search for that man anymore, but Rias kept pursuing him.

But Sirzechs knew why Rias seemed truly addicted to finding the man named Lucifer.

Sirzechs was sure that Rias must feel a very close connection to that man, whether it was because he was Lucifer which attracted pure-blood devils to him or something else.

Even he too felt like he had to bow down and show respect to the man named Lucifer when he first saw him.

He also asked Serafall what she felt, and like him, Serafall also said she felt like she had a connection with that man.

All of this made him dizzy and unsure of what would happen if the old devils found out about Lucifer.

But luckily, that man had never appeared again, and so far everything was going smoothly, now they just had to wait for the peace conference to begin.

<Rias PoV>

The day when the peace conference began finally arrived.

We were all waiting in the club room because for some reason, they wanted to hold the peace conference in this school....

Instead of any other safer location... at least my older brother installed very strong barrier.

So no one could enter or leave as they pleased, and outside the barrier there were many devils, fallen angels, and angels patrolling.

I glanced at the clock and saw that it was time, so I stood up and said, "Now then, we're leaving."

Everyone who heard my words nodded immediately and stood up to follow me.

"Buchou..." but suddenly I heard Gasper's voice from under the cardboard box on his head.

"Gasper, today's conference is really important, but since you haven't mastered your powers yet, it's better for you to wait here," I told Gasper gently.

"Gasper, I left my games here, so if you get bored, you can play them while waiting for us to finish," Issei said to Gasper.

"Y-Yes, Issei-senpai."

Seeing that made me happy because the relationships among the members of my peerage seemed very good.

Then we started walking out of the club room, leaving Gasper behind.

Our goal was the new building of Kuoh Academy where they would begin the conference.

"So do you think that person... you know, the one whose name we are not supposed to mention casually... will come?" I suddenly heard Kiba speak.

I could feel all of them looking at me, hoping I would answer Kiba's question.

But all I could do was sigh and answer, "I don't know, Kiba..."

Then I heard Ddraig's voice appear and speak directly,

"[I hope he doesn't show up, it will make everything complicated.]"

"Why, Ddraig? Are we still not strong enough to fight him even with Ascalon?" I heard Issei speak.

"[Don't be foolish Issei, don't you remember how easily that man fighting against the strongest Satan?]"

After that, I heard Issei arguing with Ddraig about how he would become the Harem King and defeat that man, blah blah blah...

But shortly after, we arrived at the location, and Issei finally stopped arguing with Ddraig.

I prepared myself, took a deep breath, and finally knocked on the door.

"Excuse us."

I opened the door and entered the room.

There, I could see a very magnificent and beautiful table surrounded by several people with very serious expressions.

Feeling the heavy atmosphere, I could only swallow my saliva because the atmosphere here was truly intense.

On the devil side, I saw my brother Sirzechs, my childhood friend sister Serafall, and Grayfia standing close to both of them.

On the angel side, the leader of all angels Michael, with his golden wings spread out, and an angel girl named Gabriel.

On the fallen angel side, Azazel, the leader of the fallen angels with his 12 wings on his back, and Vanishing Dragon Vali.

They all looked very neatly dressed for this conference... I felt like I was in the wrong place with the school uniform we were wearing.

"My Younger Sister, and Her Family," I heard my brother introduce me to all of them.

We all bowed to them as my brother introduced us.

"Take a seat over there."

I then turned to where my brother pointed and saw that Sona was already there.

We approached her, and I took a seat next to my childhood friend.

Akeno and the others also took their seats.

After seeing that we were all in position, my brother finally started the meeting.

"Now that everyone is gathered, we will begin our discussion, a forbidden and important discussion... about how God is dead."

After their discussion about the deceased "big guy" and the recent events involving Kokabiel, my brother began talking about another important matter.

"And about the other one, the person who claimed to be Lucifer," my brother said in a more serious tone than when talking about the "big guy."

Hearing that made the atmosphere in the room even heavier.

"Since he went through the portal during the incident with Kokabiel, he has never appeared again," my brother continued his speech.

"And we on the devil side have also not heard of him appearing at all. Have you heard any information about him since he left on your side?"

Azazel-sama seemed to be tapping his fingers on the table while Vanishing Dragon also started to look serious.

"We on the fallen angel side have not found any information on whether Lucifer has reappeared or not," Azazel-sama finally answered after thinking for a moment.

"We on the angel side have also not heard any information about whether Lucifer has reappeared or not," it was Michael-sama's turn to speak.

"Yes, indeed, although I have tried to search all over the earth for the whereabouts of Father, I have found nothing at all" Gabriel-san spoke, looking sad and with her wings lowered.

"Father?" I heard Asia's voice, confused as to why an archangel was calling someone Father.

Hearing that, Gabriel-san turned to Asia. "You're Asia, aren't you? Oh, you don't know? Then I'll tell you what happened."

Gabriel-san looked cheerful and eager to tell Asia what had happened, but Michael stopped her first.

"*Cough* Gabriel, you can do that later, for now, just focus on the conference,"

"Mouuuum...Michael" Gabriel-san pouted upon hearing Michael's words.

I never expected an angel to behave like that and also, "father?" Why did she call Lucifer father? And why didn't my brother tell me...

"He really looks strange. At first, he was a fallen angel, but in the end, he seemed to have turned into an angel," I heard Akeno speak.

"I also don't know how he could do that, and normally, if you're fallen, you can't return to being an angel," Michael-sama answered Akeno.

"Perhaps that doesn't apply in another world. Don't forget he comes from another world, not this one," I heard Azazel-sama speak.

"Another world... speaking of another world, when he was leaving, he mentioned that there is another world very close to this one," Serafall-sama spoke.

"Hmm, yes, he did say that there is a world close to our world and he also said that the world is filled with many really strong people and some kind of robot(?), but before I could ask for more details, he had already left,"

My brother responded to Serafall-sama, sighing because at least the man could explained more in details before leaving.

"What about you, Azazel? Do you know anything about this?" My brother suddenly asked Azazel-sama.

"Eh? Why are you asking me?" Azazel-sama looked surprised when he was asked suddenly like that.

"Don't pretend, Azazel. I'm sure you are currently investigating about that other world,"

"Eh? Come on, Sirzechs, you know I wouldn't want to search for something like that," Azazel-sama continued to deny my brother words.

But we all just stared at Azazel, even Vanishing Dragon also stared at Azazel with a blank expression.

Our stares were like saying "Do you think I'm stupid?"

Seeing that no one believed his words, Azazel finally sighed and told us what he knew.

"I also don't know much about it, and even though we tried to open a portal to that other world, it always ended up in the dimensional gap...

After several attempts, I concluded that in order to open a portal to another world, we first have to pass through the dimensional gap... and pass through the Great Red."

Great Red... the strongest dragon in this world, it's really impossible for someone to successfully pass through that place.

They then began to discuss what they would do if Lucifer were to appear again.

All of this made me scared that they might try to make the man their enemy, but fortunately, they only agreed to talk to him first if any of them were to encounter him.

But in the middle of the conversation, suddenly I felt something strange...

In an instant, I couldn't feel my body at all.

This sensation was like when I felt Gasper's Time-Stopping ability.

"Rias!" When I came to, I could see my brother in front of me with a worried expression.

"Onii-chan..." I then looked around and saw Michael-sama looking out the window, and Azazel-sama and Vanishing Dragon Vali were speaking seriously.

"Good, it looks like you're awake," I heard my brother say.

Awake?... Oh right, Gasper's Time-Stopping ability! I then looked at my other peerage members and could see that some of them were also frozen, except for Issei, Kiba, and Xenovia.

After that, my brother informed us that terrorists were attacking them, forcing Gasper to enter Balance Breaker mode and stop time throughout the area.

Hearing that made me very angry. How dare they use my family members so casually. I wouldn't forgive them!

I then suggested helping Gasper by using Castling, a technique where I could move to the unused "Rook" piece in the club room.

"But are you going there alone, Rias?" my brother asked.

"I will go with you Buchou!" I heard Issei offer to help me.

Hearing that, Sirzechs agreed and allowed the two of us to go help Gasper. But before we moved to the club room, Azazel-sama suddenly threw something to Issei.

"Take this, Red Dragon Emperor."

I saw Issei catch something like wide rings to put around his hand.

"That is a bracelet used to help someone control their Sacred Gear," Issei then examined the bracelet and saw that there were two.

"The other one is for you, Red Dragon Emperor. You still can't use your Sacred Gear properly, right?"

"Remember, only use it in emergencies!" Azazel-sama warned Issei.

"I understand!" After that, we started teleporting to the club room.

<3rd PoV>

"Vali, go out and divert the terrorists' attention so that Rias and the Red Dragon Emperor can successfully help their peerage members," Azazel immediately spoke to Vali after seeing Rias and Issei leave.

Vali, feeling bored without hesitation opened the window and prepared to leave.

"Balance Break-"

"[VANISHING DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER!!!!!!]"

Vali's body began to be enveloped by the Vanishing Dragon armor, and he then flew out through the window.

After that, those who were still in the room began to investigate who was behind the attack.

"Khaos Brigade..." Azazel muttered as he tried to figure out who was behind all this.

"Khaos Brigade?" Sirzechs, upon hearing Azazel's words, looked confused as he had never heard that name before.

But before Azazel could explain to them, they suddenly heard a voice and a familiar magic circle appeared.

"[You're right, and Ophis is the Leader of this Khaos Brigade]"

Upon hearing this voice, they all immediately became alert.

But some of them recognized the symbol of the magic circle that appeared.

"Leviathan..." Sirzechs spoke upon seeing this symbol.

Before long, a woman dressed in very revealing clothing appeared.

"How do you do, Sirzechs-dono," the woman asked in a mocking tone.

"The one descended from the blood of the previous Leviathan? Cattleya Leviathan... what is the meaning of this?" Sirzechs responded to the woman.

The woman then explained that all members of the Old Maou Faction had agreed to work with the Khaos Brigade, and their goal was to kill them all and take over the underworld, returning to Lucifer's old ways.

"Cattleya-chan, with your powers, you can't possibly defeat all of us here. Why don't you surrender before the situation worsens?" Serafall spoke worriedly to the woman.

Hearing this, the woman laughed loudly, "Hahahahaha, do you think I came here without a plan?"

She then took out a small bottle containing a small black snake and without hesitation, she ate it.

After she consumed the snake, the room began to collapse under the pressure from the woman.

Azazel, seeing this, immediately directed his hand to the side and destroyed the wall so they could escape from there.

Everyone except the woman that still busy absorbing the power of the snake, leaped out of the room.

Afterward, they looked towards the room where the woman was.

The woman then emitted an unpleasant aura, and her body began to swell as it was fully filled with Ophis Power.

"Hahaha, this power is truly amazing," Cattleya laughed madly as she felt the power.

She then flew out of the room towards the group that was watching her from the ground.

"This power... I didn't expect you to go this far just to follow Lucifer's old path," Sirzechs spoke as he felt the power of Cattleya.

"Let me handle her," Azazel suddenly spoke.

They all turned to him, looking puzzled.

"Azazel-chan? Are you going to fight her?" Serafall said to Azazel.

Hearing this, Azazel felt a little annoyed, "Hah, why not let me handle it? Even if I'm like this I am still strong you know."

Azazel then stepped forward, using his 12 black wings. He prepared himself to fight Cattleya Leviathan.

But before they could begin their fight, suddenly, cracks appeared in the air between them.

Sirzechs, Azazel, and Serafall recognizing the aura instantly panicked as to why this person suddenly appeared here.

Meanwhile, Cattleya was confused by the aura she was sensing but one of the aura felt familiar.

The cracks multiplied and finally burst, revealing some kind of portal.

Inside it all they can see is only a very white space, but not long after that a man with white hair accompanied by a young girl holding his hand and a woman with long red hair emerged from the portal.

Cattleya, seeing the young girl, immediately recognized who she was and exclaimed, "O-Ophis??"

The man with white hair then looked around and stopped in Cattleya's direction.

"Hey, look Ophis, it seems she is the source of an aura that is similar to you that I felt,"

Ophis then looked at Cattleya, but she did not recognize her at all and showed no interest in her.

Meanwhile, the others were looking at the man with white hair with worry, hoping he was not involved with the terrorist members.

But one of them, Grayfia, looked at the man's face with serious face.

Currently, she really felt like she had seen the man before, but when she tried to think where she had seen the man.

suddenly her head began to ache so much that she had to hold her head with one of her hands.
