(3rd POV)

*ROOOAAAARRRRR*

The roar of Bahamut echoed throughout the island of Zinkenstill, the village inhabitants felt panic and worry because after the previous tremor, suddenly the sky darkened and the sound of a monster's roar was heard.

Meanwhile, Djeeta and Katalina retreated towards Lyria as they witnessed the dragon that suddenly appeared in the sky.

"That primal beast... You said its name is Bahamut? You managed to awaken a primal?" Vyrn asked Lyria, as he did not expect Lyria to be able to do that.

Lyria simply said that she would use her power to try to waking up Rei, so Vyrn thought she would use a power similar to healing as before.

"I thought the Astrals were the only ones who could control them."

"Besides, weren't the primals all wiped out hundreds of years ago during the War?"

Then Djeeta and Katalina approached Vyrn and Lyria. "Lyria's power makes it possible. She's the only one who can control them... besides the Astrals," Katalina explained Lyria's power to Djeeta and Vyrn.

Meanwhile, Lyria remained silent, focusing on Bahamut that she had called. Her body emitted a blue aura, her necklace and eyes glowing blue.

"Wow, this is the first time I've seen a primal beast this close," Djeeta exclaimed in awe of the primal beast's power and began to observe it.

"Ughhh," Djeeta began to stumble as her legs were no longer able to support her body.

"Whoa, be careful, Djeeta," Katalina caught Djeeta and helped her stand.

"Hahaha, it's been a long time since we last met."

Suddenly, the voice of *Rei* was heard, and they all turned to *Rei*.

"You, omnipotent, can become like this."

Bahamut remained silent, hearing the mockery from *Rei*.

"Omnipotent? Hey, what do you mean?" Vyrn shouted towards *Rei*, but *Rei* paid no attention.

"Bahamut, please listen to me," Lyria attempted to communicate with Bahamut. "I beg you, please help me waking up Rei."

Lyria pleaded with Bahamut, then she remembering her previous memory when Rei hugging and comforting her, which brought tears to her eyes.

Bahamut only remained silent, listening to her request.

*ROOOAAAARRRRR*

Suddenly, Bahamut began to roar again, and its neck began to emit light.

The light on Bahamut's neck grows stronger and starts moving towards his mouth.

"Hmm? Are you going to use it right away?" *Rei* watches Bahamut immediately using Skyfall.

"Hey, hey, what is Bahamut going to do? I can feel a strong pressure from here," Vyrn panics, afraid that his attack will kill Rei.

"Hey Lyria, stop Bahamut if he keeps gathering that much power, Rei could die," Djeeta shouts towards Lyria.

"Don't worry, Djeeta, Vyrn. Just trust Lyria," Katalina reassures them both.

*Rei* observes Bahamut continuously gathering his energy, then closes his eyes and feels the energy inside his body.

"Already running out? It seems this will be my last attack."

*Rei* opens his eyes and looks at Bahamut.

"Alright, omnipotent, I accept your challenge." *Rei's* right hand points towards Bahamut.

*Rei* Two wings start emitting a black light that cracks the ground around him.

"Hey, hey, what is he going to do now?" Vyrn realizes Rei is going to do something again, like when he summoned the golden sword earlier.

"Atheism."

A force field with various colors of red, blue, brown, green, yellow, and black appears around *Rei*.

The energy on Bahamut's neck starts moving faster towards his mouth and finally, he shoots the energy he gathered towards *Rei*.

*BOOOOOOOMMMM*

"Kyaaaaaaa"

"Aaaaaaaahhhhh"

"Uaaahhhhh"

Djeeta, Katalina, and Vyrn try to hold onto the tree that fell due to Rei's previous sword attack.

*Rei* just looks towards Bahamut and lets the laser attack him.

*BOOOOOOOMMMM*

The laser hits *Rei* but the field of force around him is able to protect him.

"Ughhh"

*Rei* felt a very strong pressure throughout his body, thinking that his current strength might not be enough to withstand Bahamut's attack.

*Crack* *Crack*

Then the sound of *Rei's* force field slowly started to crack.

"Tch, it seems like my current strength is indeed not enough" *Rei* felt his energy drastically decreasing to the point of almost running out.

"Now it's my turn, omnipotent" *Rei* gathered the remaining energy in his right hand.

His right hand started gathering purple energy, growing larger and larger.

"Axion."

*Rei* shot a focused purple laser at a single point, piercing through Bahamut's weakening skyfall.

*Pew*

The laser continued moving towards Bahamut and finally hit him, penetrating his chest.

"Bahamut!" Lyria screamed as she sensed Bahamut being attacked by something.

"Hey, something just hit Bahamut," Vyrn, that been focused on Bahamut all this time because he sensed something similar like him when he looked at bahamut notice something just hit bahamut.

Bahamut's skyfall stopped and he began to glow.

"No way, can he defeat a primal beast as well?" Katalina was shocked to see *Rei's* attack successfully injuring Bahamut, as she believed primal beasts had god-like power.

"Wait, what about *Rei*?" Djeeta panicked, unable to see *Rei's* condition due to the smoke from Bahamut's attack.

After the smoke covering Rei slowly began to disappear, Djeeta could see Rei again.

But when Djeeta saw the condition of Rei, severely injured after holding off Skyfall Bahamut's attack, tears began to fall from Djeeta's eyes.

The glowing Bahamut began to become transparent and then disappeared, returning to Lyria's necklace.

"Thank you, Bahamut, I'm sorry I hurt you," Lyria held her necklace and could feel Bahamut returning to her.

The light in Lyria's body started to diminish and eventually disappeared, the blue light in her eyes and necklace also disappearing.

*Whoosh*

"Hey Djeeta, what are you doing?" Katalina felt Djeeta release her grip and ran towards Rei.

"Rei!"

"Hey Rei!"

After that, Katalina heard Lyria and Vyrn's voices, and they both running towards Rei as well.

She then turned towards Rei and saw that Rei had fallen and seemed unconscious.

Djeeta arrived at Rei's side first and could feel that the aura Rei emitted during his previous battle had disappeared.

She tried to check how severe Rei's injuries were, but other than the injury to his right hand, the rest didn't seem too bad.

"Rei!" She suddenly heard Lyria and Vyrn's voices getting closer.

"Hey Rei, are you okay? Rei, talk to me? Rei," Vyrn panicked, seeing Rei suddenly faint.

Lyria tried to check his body and heal him, aside from the slower healing of the injury to his right hand, she was able to heal the other wounds.

"Phew" Lyria sighed after trying to heal Rei.

"Rei is fine, he fainted because he ran out of energy," Lyria reassured them both.

"Aaaaahhhhh, Rei, you really worried me," Vyrn cried after realizing Rei was okay.

Djeeta was still holding Rei's left hand, feeling her racing heartbeat.

"So he's okay?" Katalina's voice approached them.

Lyria turned to Katalina, "Yes, he just ran out of energy, so he will be unconscious for a few days."

Katalina looked at Lyria's slightly teary eyes and sighed.

"Alright, you two, we should move Rei to a more comfortable place to let him rest," Katalina suggested to Djeeta and Vyrn, who were still crying.

(Rei's PoV)

"Wait..." previously, Rei felt like he was about to wake up, but instead of waking up and seeing Hydra attacking them, he saw himself playing on his phone in his bed.

Rei saw himself playing Granblue Fantasy, then looked around and realized that his life before was truly lonely. Since meeting Djeeta and Vyrn, he had fun with them every day. Whether it was training with Djeeta, playing with Vyrn, or talking with Djeeta while they stargazed.

"True... What about my parents?" Rei muttered. "Although they were rarely home, I had a good relationship with them." Rei began to remember when his parents were at home, how they would talk and play together.

Rei started to wipe away his tears and began to cry, remembering all of this. "*sob*... Father... Mother..." Rei cried, holding his chest which felt painful and missing them.

But suddenly everything shook, and the scene in Rei's room began to change. "*sniff* Huh, this is the place where I first met Djeeta."

Rei saw the moment when he looked confused waking up in Zinkenstill. Then he heard someone running towards him, and when he looked towards the source of the sound, he saw that it was Djeeta.

"Hey, are you okay?" Djeeta asked Rei, tilting her head.

"Umm, this..." Rei remembered his daily life living with Djeeta and Vyrn. "True, I now have friends like Djeeta and Vyrn," he smiled, feeling his heart beating fast.

"And I just met Lyria and Katalina, besides, in the world of Granblue Fantasy, there are many different primal beasts." "I remember in one of the Granblue Fantasy events, there was a primal beast that could send people to another dimension. Maybe I can meet my parents again."

Rei smiled as he said that, he also remembering that Lucilius had the ability to move between dimensions, although he didn't know how he did it.

"Yeah, thinking about it won't do any good. The story of Granblue Fantasy is just starting, and there are still many adventures waiting for us."

Suddenly everything turned dark again, this time Rei found himself in a dark place like when he was sent to the world of Granblue Fantasy.

But this time there was something slightly different because he saw blue and red light around him.

"What lights are these?" Rei was confused as to where these lights came from because he couldn't find their source.

Suddenly, two figures appeared in front of Rei, but he couldn't see who they were clearly as their faces looked blurry even though there was light around them.

But he could see that one of them was a woman wearing white clothes with very long bright blue hair, and the other one was a dragon that looked similar to Proto Bahamut in the game, although he had never seen Bahamut like this before.

"So...singularity...here..." one of them started talking, but Rei couldn't hear it clearly, but he felt like the voice sounded similar to someone.

"Please...war...otherworlder," the woman kept speaking, and when Rei heard "otherworlder," he knew who she meant.

'Otherworlder? Isn't it the monster that's very powerful and has tentacles?' He remembered the enemies that appeared in Arc 3 of the Granblue Fantasy main story.

'One of the otherworlders even has the ability to manipulate time and create other dimensions.'

'I also plan to strengthen myself to fight them and try to seek help from beings like primals or juutenshu.'

*Rerrrrr* The dragon suddenly made a noise and nodded towards Rei.

"I leave....rest...you.....Rei" the woman smiled upon hearing what Rei had in mind, then she flicked her finger.

Everything turned dark again, and he felt like he was beginning to wake up.

(3rd PoV)

In a room in one of the houses in the village of Zinkenstill, someone was seen sleeping soundly. Beside that person, a girl with blonde hair was sleeping, and upon closer inspection, one could see dark circles under her eyes because she had not been able to sleep peacefully for the past few days.

The man who was sleeping began to move and opened his eyes.

(Rei's PoV)

"Ughhh, where is this?" Rei muttered after he opened his eyes.

He felt like he was sleeping in the bed at Djeeta's house because it felt soft, just like he remembered when he stayed there. But he felt someone holding his left hand, then he looked to see who it was.

"Djeeta?"

Djeeta began to wake up as she felt movement in the hand she was holding.

"Ummmm...." Djeeta rubbed her eyes and looked towards Rei.

She stopped rubbing her eyes and stared at Rei with widened eyes.

"Hey, Djeeta, you should be sleeping in your own bed instead of sleeping here. Are you comfortable sleeping sitting up like that?" Rei asked Djeeta, who was still looking at him with her widen eyes.

"Uhhh... Uhhhh..." Djeeta started crying again and jumped towards Rei and hugged him.

"Rei!... Finally, you're awake..." Djeeta hugged Rei tightly and spoke while crying.

"Ow, ow, ow, Djeeta, you're hugging me too tight, I can't breathe" Rei felt his body being a bit crushed by Djeeta's tight hug.

Suddenly, the door to Rei's room swung open, and a girl with blue hair ran into the room. However, she stopped short when she saw Djeeta hugging Rei.

Suddenly, a pain shot through her chest again, but she didn't know why. She decided she would ask Katalina about it later.

"Ah, Lyria! How are you? Wait, what about Hydra? And the soldiers surrounding us earlier?" Rei looked panicked as he remembered the last thing he saw, Djeeta and Lyria crying.

Lyria approached Rei and Djeeta, who was still crying and hugging him.

"I'm okay, Rei. Katalina and I managed to escape from them. And about Hydra... don't you remember?" Lyria said.

Djeeta stopped hugging Rei and wiped away the remaining tears from her eyes.

"*Sniff* *sniff* I'll explain everything to you, Rei" Djeeta answered all of Rei's questions.
