Temptation

Hiroshi stared at the message on the screen of his phone and could not understand a bit of what the man wanted with that sentence. He had nothing to say to him.

After thinking about it on the way to Haruki's house, he could not help but feel that Haruki must wanted to talk about business with him after all, he was Haruki's employee.

When he got to the floor through the VIP elevator that led to the penthouse, the guard who followed him up opened the door for him and left without a word spoken.

This was the time he had to be led to the door in such a manner that he could not help but feel that Haruki wanted to talk about business and nothing more.

He changed his shoes at the door while hoping the bath he took had completely gotten rid of the smell of antiseptic from his body. He took in a deep breath and could not detect that familiar smell before he walked into the large parlor.

Haruki was not home yet and the place was empty. He walked in with the bag of food he was asked to bring by Haruki. He would have arrived earlier if he had not had to queue to get the takeout for Haruki from his favorite restaurant.

He used to eat there when he had just joined the hospital and he wanted Haruki to taste something he loved. He moved the bag to the kitchen and placed it on the black marble island.

He changed his clothes in the guestroom into a simple t-shirt and loose-fit comfy pair of trousers before returning to the kitchen to get to work.

He emptied the bag and began reheating the meal before serving them in two sets of the multiple expensive plates Haruki had in the kitchen cupboard.

He smiled when he heard a sound from the front door. Though he tried to get himself busy enough not to overthink what Haruki's message meant, he could not stop the slight nervousness that required him to stop and take a deep breath.

He sat down on one of the stools at the kitchen island and waited patiently for Haruki to come in.

Haruki was dressed for work in a black suit without a tie. Two of the buttons on his shirt were undone and Hiroshi who was scanning the handsome man before him, noticed Haruki was holding a black tie that wrapped around his fingers as though he was trying to wrap his hands for a boxing match.

Hiroshi could not move his gaze from the man who seemed to be illuminated under the light of the chandelier. There was no need for another word to describe the man who stared at him with a set of gorgeous obsidian eyes aside from beautiful.

"That smells good," Haruki's deep voice met Hiroshi in in trance and it only made him intensify his gaze on the man whose voice and appearance alone caused his heart to race.

Really, absence makes the heart grow fonder. The man before had always been way above average, in fact, unparalleled in appearance but after not seeing him for only a few days, he felt he was even ten times more gorgeous.

"Aren't you going to invite me over to join you?" Haruki whose cheeks slightly deepened in color asked casually.

Hiroshi finally woke up from his trance he noticed that the man had blushed simply because of his gaze and his mind had begun wondering what it would be like under his touch, with the man either beneath or above him, it did not matter how what position they took in bed as long as he can see the man blush more.

"It's your home, is there a need for you to say that?" Hiroshi asked instead although he desperately wanted to stand up and push back a chair for Haruki to sit before him like the master he wanted to treat him as.

"You seem to either be getting too familiar with my home or you just want to piss me off," Haruki said casually before throwing the tie on a sofa.

"None," Hiroshi replied with a smile as he tried to hide his nervousness. The man did not seem to be so displeased with him unlike the more he sent him away obviously displeased, the morning he almost ended his life with a dagger.

Haruki found himself unable to be angry with what the man had said or his attitude he only found his sadistic self wondering if Hiroshi would still act this way when the night ahead of them was over.

"What do you want to talk about?" Hiroshi asked as he finally calmed his nerves enough to not appear nervous before Haruki. He has never been this way when facing Haruki but it seems after the past few days that felt like months, he felt a constant fear that Haruki would never get close to him.

That night had completely sealed his fate and the thought of getting kicked out completely from Haruki's life would leave him with a lot of trouble.

"You look like you are about to get fired, no one is getting fired," Haruki said leisurely as he sat down to eat.

Hiroshi who had always appeared fearless and inflexible before Haruki did not feel pleased knowing that Haruki had seen through his feelings this time. He laughed calmly as he regained his composure, "I guess that it is good to know, now I can enjoy my dinner".

Haruki did not want to believe that was what the man thought he invited him over for as he began eating.

As usual, the plates were cleared by Hiroshi when they were done and Haruki simply went to get himself a bottle of wine. When he got to the island, the doctor passed him a wineglass.

"Get one for yourself," Haruki said as he sat down on the stool.

"I don't want to get hungover tomorrow," Hiroshi immediately. He wanted to be fully aware of whatever happens next.

"The alcohol content can't make you drunk," Haruki told Hiroshi after a sip. "Come over," Haruki said casually with an underlying commanding tone.

As though controlled like a remote, Hiroshi began moving towards Haruki without hesitation. Haruki took a sip of the wine and gestured to the doctor to lean closer.

The smart doctor knew what would follow and found himself unable to restrain a tremble as he obeyed until his lips were only less than an inch away from Haruki's lips. He swallowed in anticipation and moved closer but Haruki pressed his index finger against his lips. He held back a groan of frustration.

"Why do you look so impatient?" Haruki leaned back and asked in amusement.

The doctor scolded himself for blowing his cover. He certainly could not expose how head over heels he was for his young and powerful boss and patient.

Haruki laughed when he noticed the change in Hiroshi's expression and he could see the man deciding to retreat with every single detail of his expression until his body finally began to move.

Haruki was quick to stop the movement with a grip on the collar of the shirt he wore. Hiroshi refused to wait for a signal his lips pressed against Haruki's lips filling him with a warmth he had craved for days. He held back a groan of satisfaction just in time for Haruki to bite his tongue which sought entry.

He groaned into the kiss before tasting a saltiness that was accompanied by a metallic flavor but the kiss did not stop with a punch in his gut as he expected instead he was pulled closer and the kiss deepened with their tongues intertwined in a dance that brought both pain and pleasure to him.
