"It's ok," Eric snivelled a bit, "but I found out something. He said he wants to send me to the land of demons for s-s-seducing you-"
Dammit, Eric get yourself together, "I think the villains are the demons. They're responsible for the feud between the superheroes and cultivators. Demons are cunning and able to brainwash people."
"These vile creatures!" Fil angrily cursed as he sat next to Eric on the bed. Eric blanked. Aren't you a fucking demon too?
"Anyways, in order to complete the story, we need to defeat the demons, no, you the hero has to and then unify the world after the demon's black magic or whatever has worn off."
Eric wasn't sure what power the demons here had. In most cultivation novels, it should be some black to dark arts. Either way, he had to get Fil to move and make his first move as the villain mastermind. Eric quickly created a plan.
As the villain, Eric should have a goal and his goal was to destroy this world.
Very cliché but his method was to use the hero to clear all obstacles like demons, cultivators and superheroes, then the hero at the end. As for his motives and background story... hmm, being bullied should be enough?
Eric would figure out this later.
"We need to find out more about the land of demons before we head there."
"Good idea," Fil scratched his chin.
Fuck, you're the protagonist and author, come up with the plot yourself and don't be passively toyed with by this brilliant evil mastermind here!

A few days later, Eric and Fil made their way to the 'wastelands'. The place where the demons lived and roamed around. Eric had made a mistake understanding this world.
He thought half of the world was cultivators and the other half was superheroes and the middle tiny part between both sides was this mountain sect. But in truth, it was 1/4th wasteland. The demons had their own big land to live in.
The journey to the wasteland was easy. Fil flew there carrying Eric. Eric asked Fil about his power and Fil said a little bit of everything. Wow, dude thanks for this informative and useless information.
"Fly down," once they reached the border of the wasteland, Eric instantly told Fil to get cover. Hide. The wasteland was in the middle of a barren desert.
A huge settlement of different cities and villages appeared. And around the size of maybe 1/4th of a country, the wasteland spread and was confined by walls, which were called the borders. This desert was located south in the world, quite a distance away from the cultivators, superheroes and neutral side.
At least 1 km away from the border, Fil and Eric descended and decided to make their way to the wasteland. They had to get to the capital and infiltrate. Since Fil was known, Fil wore a disguise of an attendant while Eric became a rich master. Much to Fil's dismay and Eric's delight.
"Man, I created something amazing," Fil was astonished and proud to see this.
Demons... Fil belonged right here with them but now he had to annihilate them since he was the hero. Wasn't this kinda fucked up?
"Don't marvel at your own creation," Eric sighed, "Focus on the parts you need to change and edit."
Also, this isn't anything you wrote! The story unfolded by itself and the world was created accordingly! None of it came out of your peanut brain!
"We should move slowly," Eric and Fil had everything planned out and discussed beforehand. Well, most of it was Eric's doing. To enter wasteland one had to get special permission, just as the demons weren't usually allowed to the human places, humans weren't allowed to the wasteland so easily.
All the people entering the wasteland had to go through the North-entrance.
The walls were all made out of stone that had the colour of sand and looked like sand. They were around eight metres high. The entrance was large with two guards standing there. Demons but just as Fil, these demons looked very human.
Past the entrance was the first city and in a straight line, in the middle of wasteland was the capital where the demon king lived. Eric was surprised at how civilised the demons lived.
Eric thought they'd be more like those cultivation stories but this turned into a desert, bright settlement!
"Papers," the guard gave Eric and Fil a one over and was very rude.
Fil wanted to roar something but Eric held him back and held out a golden badge.
The guard inspected it and grumped before giving it back.
"Go on," the guard said, before ignoring Eric and Fil. Eric was glad because they didn't seem to raise too much attention.
He sighed in relief.
"Let's go," Eric spoke like an arrogant master ordering his servant around.
Fil pursed his lips and followed Eric into the wasteland. The sight that greeted them struck them. It kinda looked like what Eric knew of ancient Egypt but it also reminded him for some reason of the hanging gardens of Babylon.
Green gardens popped up here and there, waterfalls ran along tall buildings. Everything looked pretty and orderly, totally not befitting of demons.
The distance to the capital was at least 40 km away from the north entrance. Fil could fly but this would only attract attention and a human was restricted in the wasteland to not use their power.
However, the wasteland wasn't only to the demons. If there were superheroes, there were also villains. Eric thought the villains were a minority and suppressed by the demons. But Eric was surprised to see villains and demons getting along so well. Why were the bad guys on good terms and the supposedly good guys were fighting each other?
"Wow, look at all those details," Fil was more and more amazed by his own creation.
"Stop gawking," Eric, as a master, threw his angel façade down the drain. It was refreshing.
"Follow me. Let's be quick to the capital!" Eric wanted to get there quickly and infiltrate the capital to get to the demon king and wipe him out to create a war and have superheroes and cultivators fight together.
Demon King... Eric was reminded of Del. Hopefully, it wasn't actually Del or someone who looked like Del. Eric hoped it was an ugly ass creature.
"We should cover at least 10 km and stay at night in a city," Eric quickly determined while he had to peel Fil off every place and marvel at what he thought was produced by his fingers.
Eric wondered why the hell Del was so astonished. Was he like this the first few days when he teleported here as well? He was like a small kid amazed by everything he saw. His eyes widened dramatically and sparkled. Eric found it kind of endearing.
