Chapter 24 | the battle of the asteroids

Jake got news from his summons that the asteroid field is defended by Republic fleets it wasn't that unexpected as if he got his hands on it he would have a place to hide troops it also give Jake easy access to the Republic core so he called upon a few of his fleets to get ready for an attack as there are at least 4 Republic fleets there he gathered 6 of his

As this is going to be a big battle he is going to have Obito Uchiha as the leader of the attack group as he has had plenty of time to learn how to command fleets as he has taken 4 planets since the beginning of the clone wars himself with his ability to travel to a different dimension and appear anywhere Within his memory as long as he knows where a ship is he can teleport himself within it

This gives him the perfect opportunity to take a ship himself without any casualties thanks to his chakra he can withstand the pressure of space as well since he can transport to a different plane he can transport himself there to get more air pretty much allowing him to live in space

The fleets that are going are five normal Imperial fleets and one Covenant Fleet to give them the edge of a surprise given that the ships haven't been attacked by the Republic the Hutts haven't mentioned anything about them as it will show weakness that they couldn't defend a planet

The Covenant Fleet consists of one Nuvaar-pattern supercarrier this fleet cost Jake 40 billion SP to make. the Nuvaar-pattern supercarrier is 28,960 meters in length, 11,447 meters in width and 3,563 meters in height and on board it has 3,250 Farrital-pattern Banshees, 1,040 CSX-class Banshees, 346 SX-class Seraphs, 6 Cheraika-pattern heavy Corvette's, 4 Mutan Et-pattern storm cutter and 240 Dextro Xur-pattern Warrior Transports

This Ship is currently the largest in the galaxy and with its Superior shielding technology it'll be one of the harder ones to get destroyed in battle

The ships are on their way to the asteroid field to take it from the Republic as they arrive they don't see any ships but know they're here somewhere as one of the fleets moved upon Obito's orders as they were ahead of the rest of the fleets the Republic ships all started to fire at them thinking this is the opportunity to strike

As the fleet up in front started getting shot at as the Republic ships saw an opening as a fleet was in front of the rest. Jake's fleet tried to try to defend themselves from the Republic ships but to no avail as they blew up after getting shot at for 20 minutes

Now the rest of Jake's army knows where the Republic ships are located they started to fire at them as well bringing out their Fighters to the Republic ships the Clones had no idea how to battle the Covenant ships as some of them are smaller than the ships their fighting and some of them have cloaking technology that lets them practically let them go invisible with new shielding technology

The Republic outnumbers the empires fleet surprisingly by a lot there are 7 Republic fleets here Obito was informed of this as soon as the number of fleets was confirmed he then put his second in command in charge of the fleets as he was going to travel to the ship the rest of most protected from the Republic

As Obito phased in the ship he notices none of the clones are paying attention to the security of the ship as they are running to their stations for the battle going outside he then went to kill a group that was going to their station as he through five shurikens into their throats killing 5 of the 6 he then used genjutsu on the last Survivor and asked " where is the reactor room " as the clone told him were to go he killed it

As he made it to the reactor room he saw 50 clones on guard making sure nothing happens to the reactor he then used Fire Release: Blast Wave Wild Dance to destroy the room as soon as he sent that Jutsu he then transported himself back to his ship the clones were the first to die as the shop blew up damaging two other ships as they were close to the blast radius

The Republic troops were in shambles as their Commander was a board that ship and was the one who gave him the strategies Obito notice that and quickly change their attack strategy as the Republic ships would not know what to do the battle got way easier for the summons the Republic got desperate and started to send their ships into the summons ships and did a one for one trade

As ships were being blown up Obito then transported himself in front of the pilots and crew on one of the Republic vessels using his Genjutsu on them to make them think one of the other Republic ships was one of theirs so they sent themselves into it

The battle was wrapping up two Republic ships retreated to the core to report what happened there the Republic was not happy about that one bit as now the emipe can now send strips right into the core

Jake was surprised about how high the casualties were they lost over half of the ships sent there 7 to be exact
