"As for you, after we get back to chaldea your going to tell me everything you know and how you got into chaldea understood?" Olga turned to me and asked.
"Yeah sure."
"Now Mash have you made contacted chaldea yet."
"I have but the connection cut off, the doctor said that going to a leyline will stable the connection so we went here."
"Where is the leyline?"
"Right over there." Mash pointed at a place surrounded by several skeletons.
Olga looked at the skeletons and thought of several plans to beat them.
"Alright here's the plan, Mash you go lure them towards that broken building and when you pass that wall I'll make it collapse, if some of them survive you quickly bash them with your shield okay?"
"Understood director."
"As for you two, who's Mash's master?"
"Me." Gudako answered.
"You supply her with mana while we stay here, understood?"
"Okay."
Olga looked at me for my answer but I just smiled and disappeared to the middle of the skeleton group.
I lightly waved my hand as fire erupted from it and burned all the skeletons.
Looking at where the group were I motioned for them that it's safe.
"Amazing, Claude-san, you burned all those skeletons in a second." Mash said surprised.
"Never mind that! Just because you can take care of a bunch of skeletons doesn't mean that you should rush into them head on! Who knows that there might be one that you can't handle there!"
"I'm the one leading this expedition and that means your my responsibility, I order you to stay behind Mash, understood?" Olga lectured.
"Sure sure." I answered.
'What a hardcore tsundere.' I thought
"Mash said that you snapped your fingers and you made two skeletons became dust, is that also your magecraft?"
"Yeah you can say that."
"How strong are you?" Olga asked.
"I can definitely take on a servant alone."
"Now's not the time for jokes! As much as I hate to ask an outsider for help, I need all the help we can to explore this singularity!"
Olga won't believe me so to prove it to her I faced a bunch of broken buildings and punched forward.
The result was a strong gust of wind exciting from my hand and into the buildings, shredding them until they were raised to the ground.
Mash protected the duo from the flying debris as I looked at Olga.
"Do you believe me now?" I asked with a smile.
"Ugh.... Ye-yea-" Olga was cut off by the hologram on Mash's waist lighting up.
"Hello? Hello? Can you guys here me?" Romani's figure was seen on the hologram.
"Romani?! What are you doing there!? Where's Lev? Put Lev on!" Olga said.
"Director!? Your alive! Thank god!"
"What's that supposed to mean? Where is Lev? What is the head medic doing in charge?"
"Don't aske me why. I know fully well that I'm not cut out for this job. As for Lev well...
Romani signed and answered.
"I'm sorry to say this director but Lev was in the command room with you when it blew up along with the other higher staff members and the other 47 masters with Claude-san over there rescuing Ophelia, Peperoncino and Kadoc-san at the last minute."
"Currently the surviving full time staff of chaldea is less than 20, including me."
"The reason I'm in charge of operations is because there's no one ranked ihgher than me who survived.
"Olga stumbled back in shock and put her hand on her mouth.
"No way----- Lev... No forget that."
"Less than 20 survivors? What about the master candidates.... The coffins?"
"44, all in critical condition and were short on medical supplies. We might be able to save a few, but the rest might-----
"Don't be ridiculous! Cryopreserve them immediately! Think about reviving them later. Your top priority is to make sure they don't die!"
"I forgot the coffins had those functions! I'll get on it right away!" Romani exclaimed.
"That surprised me. Cryopreservervation without prior consent is a crime." Mash said surprised but the next moment her expression softened.
"Yet you made the decision right away. You put human lives ahead of your own reputation as the director."
"Don't be stupid! As long sa their not dead, I can explain myself later. Why else?"
