8th Path - Youkai Academy

A week had gone by and Mukuro now stood next to a bus stop in his new school uniform. A part of him looked forward to going to school. Mostly because he wanted to see where he would scale among monsters.

How many of them would be S-ranked. After all its a high school, most are still kids.

After fifteen minutes he heard the sound of a vehicle and saw a bus. Stopping in front of him, the door opened up to see a man in uniform. He had a cigar on his mouth as well as glowing eyes similar to the headmaster, Tenmei Mikogami.

"Are you Mukuro Rokudo?" The deep voice of the man asked as Mukuro nodded.

"Good, one bus ride to Youkai Academy. Just take a seat anywhere you like" The man said with a grin.

"...You're not human, are you?" Mukuro asked gaining a chuckle from the bus driver.

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. Now hurry up" The bus driver said as Mukuro proceeded to board the bus. He noted that there was one other passenger, a normal teenage male. Nothing eye-catching about the dude, he was just extraordinarily normal. Makes him wonder why the guy was also going to Youkai.

Mukuro looked around and sat on the other row from where the teen sat. The teen looked at him and greeted.

"Ah, hello. My name is Tsukune Aono, are you going to Youkai too? I'm a bit nervous because I was the only one in the bus" The teen now introduced as Tsukune asked.

"Mm, call me Mukuro. I'm also going to attend the Academy. Let's have a nice year alright" Mukuro said as he analyzed the boy.

'Wah! This guy is wierd! What's with those contact lenses?!' Tsukune inwardly wondered as he replied. "Ah me too, please take care of me" He said bowing lightly.

After around 40 minutes of awkward silence, the bus driver suddenly spoke out. "Alright, you two we're nearing Youkai Academy...But I must warn you both, Youkai Academy is a really scary place"

"Huh?" Tsukune questioned before he got interrupted with a phone call.

Mukuro overheard his conversation with his supernatural hearing and heard a girl's voice. From how they referred to each other, it was probably a relative of his. The person tried to tell Tsukune something about the school but was cut off as they entered a tunnel.

Once the bus exited the tunnel, Mukuro looked outside to see the scenery. To say he was surprised was an understatement. The whole area looked like some background of a bad horror film.

The sky was gray, the sea was red like blood, and the tree's were dark without any leaves.

"Alright" The bus driver said as he stopped the bus and opened the door. Mukuro got that as the cue to leave, so he stood up and got down out the bus. Seeing him, Tsukune followed after.

"Uwaaah! It's like a completely different world from before the tunnel!" Tsukune said to no one in particular.

"well, you two be careful" The bus driver said before he closed the door and left.

"Where do we even go? Do you no?" Tsukune said turning to Mukuro who just shrugged.

"I guess we follow the path, I'm heading first" Mukuro said as he walked off.

"Hey wait! Man, I have to call back Kyouko back" He said bringing out his phone while Mukuro left.

"Kufu~ Well, this place is interesting" Mukuro said as he walked toward the dirt path. He looked around and saw crows and grave stones everywhere.

As he walked ahead he heard some kind of noise but he couldn't quite pinpoint where it was coming from. He looked around when suddenly something flew out from the tree's.

"I'm a bat!~" A strange looking bat said.

"...?" Looking at the bat Mukuro's eyes can only twitch. 'It was just a bat?'

But as soon as he heard that something erupted from the bushes to the side of him. A girl with vibrant pink hair riding a bike emerged, it looked like she lost control as her eyes were closed and looked to be bracing herself for impact.

"Kyaah! Coming through!" She screamed

He could only sigh to himself as he moved back but saw that the bike was going to flip and land on upside down mid air. He jumped and grabbed the girl before the bike could land on her.

"Are you...on drugs or something?" He asked the girl who clutched her head.

"..ow.. sorry, my eyes blurred because I'm anemic " She said as she opened her eyes. Looking at the person who saved her she blushed slightly because he was holding her in a princess carry.

"Ano... can you put me down now?" She asked as Mukuro chuckled slightly and did as was requested.

"Riding a bike when you are anemic, my are you alright? He asked as the girl just tilted her head slightly.

"Nevermind" He sighed 'great an airhead.' he thought.

"Oh! You're bleeding, are you okay?" She asked as she pointed on his cheek.

"Hmm?" Mukuro said surprised as he brought his finger up to his cheek and found a light sting. There was a cut on his right cheek. He looked around and saw parts of glass from the bike's rearview mirror and guessed it hit him when he wasn't looking. His Ultimate eye only worked if he was focusing on his surroundings after all, earlier his focus was on the girl's safety.

"Kufu~ It's fine, it'll heal on it's own. I heal fast and plus I like some pain. Makes me feel alive" He said with a smile as his wound slowly healed.

(a/n: not a M, at least I think he's not)

"A-alright" She said a bit flustered which did not escape his vision.

"Hmm, are you alright?" Mukuro asked as the girl yelped in surprise as he leaned closer. "What's wrong? Need to piss? Hmm if so, we'll need to hurry after all doing out here would be rude"

"N-NO!, it's just the smell of your blood" She said making Mukuro look at her. Getting a closer look, he saw the girl breathing heavily as she tried to look away from the dried blood on his cheek and seemed to hold herself from pouncing.

That was when he suddenly realized where he was at. Youkai Academy, a school for monsters.

"Ah... a vampire my bad. What? Want to suck some of my blood?" He asked as the girl quickly looked at him with wide eyes.

"W-would you let me?" She asked leaning closer with stars in her eyes.

'...' He was surprised at the sudden change but replied none the less. "I mean I guess, will it turn me into a vampire though?" He asked as she quickly shook her head.

"N-NO! It won't!" She said quickly.

"Then sur-" Mukuro began but didn't forget to finish as the girl literally pounced onto him and dug her fangs to his neck. He would of thought it would hurt but it wasn't just itchy at most, like if a mosquito bit you.

"Ah!~" She moaned in pleasure as she removed herself from his neck. "Thank you and I'm sorry!" She said honestly before she introduced herself. "I'm Moka Akashiya, a vampire"

"Mm, yes I think we've already established that fact" He said causing her to blush.

"Names Mukuro Rokudo, I'm a-" Mukuro said before he was interrupted.

"There you are! Thank god!" Tsukune said as he went towards them. "Mukuro-san I'm glad I found yo-" Tsukune started before he was entranced by Moka's beauty.

"W-w-who are you?" he asked.

"I'm Moka Akashiya, a vampire" She said staring at him with a confused expression.

"Ah-Ah, I-I'm Tsukune Aono. Nice to meet you" He greeted before he processed something.

"EEHH! A vampire like those blood suckers, you're kidding right?!" He asked

"Y-yes, why do you hate vampires?" She asked a as she cowered slightly.

"Ah! No No No NO! I just never met one before" Tsukune said as he saw her discouraged look. 'She's pretty so I'll pay along with her! I don't want to see her sad!' Tsukune thought as he inwardly simped for her.

"H-How about you Mukuro? You seemed to guess I was one earlier" She asked.

"Hmmm? Oh, It was because I already met one before you" He said lazily.

"R-Really? What were they like?" She asked, surprised at the fact he met a vampire, they were rare after all.

"Hmmm, let's see. Well she tried to kill me for one" He said as Moka looked shocked.

"O-Oh, then you must think badly of us then huh?" She said as she was going to burst into tears.

"Ah, don't worry. I'm still alive and plus she was my first kiss as well, though you were the first to suck my blood." He said chuckling slightly.

"Ehehe~ So I'm your first then!" She said with her chest up.

"Well, I would love to talk more but we'll be late. See ya" Mukuro said as he walked ahead.

"Ah, Wait for us" The other two stated trying to catch up with the male.
