6th Path - Vampiress

"WAI-!" The monstrel tried to stop him only to be cut off as he saw his body separated from his neck.

*THUD!*

"Well~ would you like to come out now?!" Mukuro questioned as he had to use all his strength to avoid an attack. He jumped a meter back and saw a deep vertical slash on the place he stood just moments earlier. What was more shocking was the cut stretched to the floor to the ceiling and even to the wall behind. Even more shocking was that the cut was deep, like a knife slicing through butter.

He frowned slightly as he looked towards the person responsible with cold sweat forming on his back.

"You have killed my target, for that you must die" A feminine but cold voice rang next to his ear.

Widening his eyes, Mukuro switched to the Asura Path as his right eye became engulfed by purple flames. He then used all of his strength to turn around before he jumped back. Though he wasn't fast enough to avoid the incoming attack.

*SLASH!*

The sound of his flesh being sliced resounded in his ears as he got cut on his right shoulder making his right arm useless. If he was late just a few seconds later, his whole arm would have been sliced off.

His wound started to heal at a visible rate but it would still take time to heal from such a deep wound as even his bone was cut.

"Who are you?" Mukuro gazed at the beautiful girl that attacked him, her slender hand acted as a blade still positioned like she was going to karate chop someone.

The girl was short, only about 5'3" not to mention she looked absolutely beautiful. Pale skin without any blemishes, red slitted eyes and blackish-blue hair. Her hair was only shoulder length and tied to two pigtails. She wore a traditional Chinese cheongsam. All in all she looked harmless if you took out the fact her hand was currently drenched with his blood.

"Who am I is of no concern, you killed my target. Now die" She said with a cold voice preparing to attack again.

"Wait! Don't be unreasonable! You are stronger than me, but I knew you were watching me fight" Mukuro said though the girl didn't care and prepared to dash towards him. Only his next words froze her.

"You are a vampire correct? An S-Class monster said to be noble and prideful, yet ambushing?" Mukuro said as he clutched his shoulder hiding his wound. 'Just a few more seconds' He thought.

"Oh, don't be so surprised. Your complexion and eyes are a dead give away" Mukuro said. "You were watching me, though with your strength you could have easily killed me and the monstrel earlier, why didn't you and why decide now to kill me?"

"I'll humor you. That monstrel was my target but I saw that you got to him before me and heard you too were hired to kill him. I stayed to watch how you would dispose of him" She said before she made eye contact with him.

"And I must say, I was horribly disappointed. You had the power yet you were naive, you did not kill him right off the bat, no you toyed with him. As an assassin, I disagree with your way of doing things. An assassin must dispose of their targets fast and efficiently, something you lack" She said

"I see" Mukuro said as he stopped clutching his shoulder showing his now healed shoulder and stood up straight. He reached into his pocket to grab something and stabbed his right eye with it.

The vampire sensed a bad omen and dashed straight towards him but it was for naught.

"Kufufufu~ too late little vampire" Mukuro laughed with a smile as she was blown away with the sheer pressure he was emitting.

'What immense yoki he's emitting, it's like it's coating his entire body. His battle power increased by several folds!' The vampire thought to herself.

"You know, you're a hypocrite~" Mukuro said with a playful tone "You talked about being fast and efficient silencing your opponent before they realize it yet you forgot to do the same with me. If you had paid attention you would have noticed that I was carefully buying enough time to heal my wounds"

"Now... Bare the consequences" He said as he disappeared in a flash and appeared behind her.

The vampire in question didn't looked fazed as she sidestepped and narrowly avoided his kick. He then tried to grab his outstretched leg when he turned and kicked with his other leg.

"Tch" She said clicking her touch as she stepped back.

As soon as Mukuro landed, the vampire disappeared in a similar fashion to him and Mukuro had to tilt his head as a cut appeared on his cheek. He then performed an uppercut towards the female vampire's stomach.

*BANG!*

A gust of wind appeared due to the fact that Mukuro's fist going at unbelievable speed came to an abrupt stop.

*WOOSH!*

A hand blocked his fist as she performed a flip before landing onto the ground and back-stepping once more to create a distance.

"Who are you?" She asked with a serious voice.

"Hmm? Isn't it rude to ask yet not introduce yourself? To think you are a noble vampire, you don't even know common sense" Mukuro said shaking his head.

"...Akua Shuzen of the Shuzen house." Was all she answered.

"Oh~ to think I would meet someone from the strongest vampire family. Well then Akua Shuzen, you can call me Mukuro Rokudo. I'm only telling you my name because I respect your strength" He said.

"As with I, now let's end this" Akua said as she got into position only to be shocked when Mukuro appeared in front of her.

His hand on her chin as he kissed her.

"YOU!" She said enraged as she began swinging her hands, with it the floor, ceiling, and walls had slice marks.

"Kufufufu~ This is goodbye my cute little vampiress" Mukuro's voice resounded as she no longer felt his yoki.

"BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU!" She raged but knew he couldn't hear because he was gone. "Damned males!" She said sporting a heavy blush. It was her first kiss after all.

"HAH! HAH! HAH! Damn, I almost died" Mukuro said as he used a wall of a building as support or else he would fall down.

He had almost died and he was low on energy. The only reason for his escape was the fact that Akua didn't expect him to kiss her. Using her panic and fluster to his advantage, he dashed out with unbelievable speed trying to mask his Aura. Only after ten minutes of sprinting with his Human Path enhanced speed did he stop.
