Hirvan felt the air being squeezed out of his lungs as Lu Hanbing's arms locked around him in a suffocating embrace. Panic surged through him, his ribs straining under the unbearable pressure. He could feel the tension in Lu Hanbing's muscles, the desperation in his grip, but all Hirvan could think about was the breath being forced from his body. His heart pounded erratically, and instinct took over. Without thinking, he raised his knee and slammed it into Lu Hanbing's shin.
A sharp grunt escaped from Lu Hanbing as his grip momentarily loosened. Hirvan gasped for air, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he glared at Lu Hanbing, frustration and anger pulsing through his veins.
"Hey! Get up! I can't breathe!"
Hirvan rasped, his voice sharp and desperate as he tried to push Lu Hanbing away with his body.
