Worrying

After his revival, Kotori immediately contacts him and tells him to stop Tohka's rampage.

Shido immediately agrees but when Kotori checks the surrounding, Tohka's rampage is already finished and nowhere can be seen.

She is confused but immediately take an action to teleport Shido back into the Fraxinus.

"Find her."

"Yes."

She orders her subordinates as she waits for her brother to arrive at the bridge.

The door opens.

Immediately, she toughs herself not to show any weakness in her character.

Although she is confident that Shido wouldn't die, as his little sister, she couldn't help but worry about him.

He is her family so it's natural that she worried about him… or so she wanted to believe.

What truly is— she thinks of him more than her big brother.

When she was younger, she is conscious about Shido being adopted but she still treat him like a real brother.

However, while growing up, the more they got close, the more she is conscious about him is not blood-related.

Until one day, she became aware that calling him "big brother" became her excuse to get close to him.

Remembering this, she shook her head.

'Right now, I'm the commander of the Fraxinus. I'm her sister too. It's not good to have thoughts like this.'

Although she is aware of her feelings, she still denies her heart and decided to hide it.

After all, she doesn't want to destroy their current relationship.

However, she has a secret that is still not exposed.

This secret might lead to confessing her feelings in the future but right now, it's better not to think about it and focus on what's going on in the present.

"Where's Tohka?"

Coming from the teleportation room, Shido arrive at the bridge and immediately asked her with worry on his face.

"Relax. We are still looking for her."

Kotori's aura looks relaxed but inwardly she is nervous.

She knows that Tohka is a good person but an accident is an accident.

If something unexpected happened to her then the burden is theirs and not directly to the government nor the AST.

Especially, on the emotional side.

If you have the choice to stop an accident but you are already late then this gives you emotional damage.

She might kill some people just to let out her stress or she will create a space quake that is enough to destroy the whole city.

This idea might be because of their overthinking but it's better to be safe than be sorry.

While her crewmates are focusing on finding Tohka, Kotori, and Reine tells what happened while he was dead.

Kotori narrates what happened after Tohka erupt in rage and how she caught red-handed the AST while Reine tells the aftermath.

Looking at the screen, he could see the intensity of her attack that made the mountains and hills deform.

Fortunately, it happened on the outside of the city, if not, this city will stop to exist.

Shido is still not showing any emotion since he arrived but they can see how serious his eyes are while listening.

In his mind, Shido is quite a worry about Tohka.

He already changed the course of the plot by not immediately waking up so he doesn't know if she is okay or not.

Well, stepping aside the people she might hurt, she, herself, is a victim of misunderstanding so if no one would guide her, then she might even though to annihilate humankind because of the world rejecting the happiness that she recently found in him.
