Secretive Little Girl

"No,little bird , you are not going anywhere." Said Rose staring at the girl ,wearing blue almost looking like a blue doll.

"Look,you said that if I show up you will give me the fruit and I did .So,the deal is finished."demanded she,her cheeks turned red and eyes narrowed down.

Rose was surprised to find that a little girl like her was so logical and not emotional at all except when she expressed her desire to eat the fruit.

"I know, but I want to make one more deal with you." Said Rose ,stretching out her hand and handing over the fruit to the blue doll.

"One more deal, and why do you think that I will make a deal with some unknown person."said she ,snatching the fruit from Rose's hand and taking a bite of it.

Rose smirked at the logical mind of the girl and now she was sure that she had made the right decision to ask for help from this girl. 

"If you were not interested then you would not be standing here questioning my words." Stated she.This time the girl's eyes widened as she heard that.

"Fine, I am interested, so what is the deal?" Said the little doll ,her eyes were still wide open but this time instead of amazement it was filled with hope.

"So,you have to bring me the map of this palace, and tell me what happens to the servants here when they are punished." Stated Rose ,her words were blunt and her face remained expressionless.

At these words,the little bird dropped the orange fruit and moved a step back. She stared at Rose and examined her from head to toe.

After examining her whole appearance and staring at her for quite some time she finally stated 

"Why do you want the map of the palace?" She said in a cold yet threatening manner,her eyes can enclose to each other and her brows and her blush was gone from the cheeks.

Rose understood that she was alarmed and if she didn't give her any valid reason she might end up getting her head chopped but she already took the risk.

Rose gulped as silently as she could and with a deep breath said," I want to know more about the palace because my life's at risk." 

"Risk! What risk?" Said the little girl this time her expression turned from that of suspicion to that of confusion.

" Emotions are really strange, how they change so fast ." Thought Rose as she noticed the little one," I should have taken psychology classes ." Rose thought, biting her lips.

"Hello ,miss. Don't get caught up in your thoughts and explain to me ." Said she while waving her tiny palm towards the face of the tall lady who stood in front of her with dreamy eyes.

"Well,the thing is that I offended some high officials of the court and now they turned against me and I might Lose my life." Said Rose.

Rose was not lying, truly her life was endangered but not now ,she wanted the map in order to know more about this palace and to find Alistair. 

"So , you are the famous mage that made those officials lose face." Said she ,her face turned pink and she started laughing. 

Rose was confused because she expected her to say something but here she was laughing. 

"I guess ,now I understand but what does that have to do with me?" She said ,hardly controlling her laughter.

"I think you like the fruits very much ,so if you help me I will give all this to you." Rose said ,as she subtly pointed her fingers to the tree hinting towards the delicious fruits.

The girl's eyes widened and a light came into them ,her mouth opened a bit and salvia dropped down from them at the sight of fruits.

"But how could I believe that you don't have any ulterior motive. " she said, her composure returned and she forced her eyes to snap from the fruits to Rose.

"Well if I do any harm to this palace or leak anything you can tell the authorities at that instance and you do know what that means right." Said Rose ,her face was serious when she uttered those words.

The girl was a bit surprised at her braveness but she still stood blank there taking her time to weigh the offer and the risks.

Finally after a lot of brain wracking she responded, " Fine, I can help you but let's make a blood promise." Stated her , looking at Rose.

Rose looked at the girl and paused a bit before saying anything.

"Fine, I will make it ,but if someone deliberately harms me I can take revenge. said Rose, she wanted to make it as easy as possible. 

Rose knew that when a blood promise is made ,it hardly dissolves and is carried throughout her life unless both of the parties agree to void that.

If a blood promise made with inner magic is broken then the one breaking it would die .

"But what about you ,what will you promise?" Said Rose as she looked at the girl before making and sealing the contract.

"Well, my end if the promise will be that I can assist you with all the knowledge I have and this contract will be valid for only 3 months." Said she ,in a stern voice. 

Rose was surprised to hear the words that were coming from the little girl's mouth .She couldn't help but ask.

"I am sure this is not as simple as just a deal ,you have something else in mind right." Said Rose, as she was going to form  the contract.

The little girl smirked and said,"you don't have to know just say will you or not." 

Rose didn't have any other way so she nodded and they both cut their palms. The blood that fell down was united into a circle and a contract was formed with their blood  locked .

"Now what do you want me to do first 

" asked the little girl after the contract was made and sealed.

"First I want you to find a servant who was punished today and tell her about the possible ways she can save herself." Said Rose. She knew that this girl can only assist but not help.

The little girl nodded and took her bird from , and flew away to the punishment room where Alsitair was possibly detained.

"I hope you are safe , we both have to clear a challenge soon , after that let's try to go back." She murmured as her hazy eyes looked at the window with her hairs floating towards her face.
