Chapter 4

Natalie's POV

As I heard his words "This My dear Pack members, is my mate" he said proudly making tears fill my eyes, "Kaycee tell the others I'm going to my mother's place, I don't feel so well.." I lied.

"Okay, take care Nat" she placed her hand on my shoulder and I ran outside as tears streamed down my cheeks and sobs escape my mouth as I ran fast as I could even if I was wearing this gown.

I stopped behind a tree and leaned again it curling into a ball, "He has a mate.. it's not me.. but it's that human girl.." I kicked the pebbles in the water.

"What are you doing here?" I heard the voice of the person I wanted to hear the least of "It doesn't concern you! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS GETTING IN MY WAY!! LEAVE ME ALONE FOR GODS SAKE!!" I yell in anger not caring that he's Beta.

He chuckled, leaning on the tree trunk, he spoke again "You brought your hopes too high Barbie" he smirked "I don't know why but I just love seeing you hurt.." he smiled "YOU SAW THAT ALREADY RIGHT?! NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!!" I folded my arms Infront of him.

"Nah.. I'd rather see you cry.. cry more.." he persuaded me sitting on the ground, I've had enough of him now.. I walked away wiping my tears and began sprinting cursing him in my mind 'JERK!! ASSHOLE!! SON OF A BITCH!! IDIOT!! FOOL!! WHORE!!'

I stopped and sniffled looking around me where nothing was familiar to me, I heard whistles behind me so I turn around to see men about my age or older making me to huff and roll my eyes.

"Are you lost beauty?" One of them got down the branch walking towards me with a smirk "N-no.. I actually came here with my boyfriend.." I simply said gulping "Why lie beautiful?" The other one also jumps down from the tree branch.

"You actually thought you had a chance to be Luna of Blood Moon Pack but Moon goddess planned something else for you instead of lending you Alpha Xander" the older one walked closer and touched my arm making me clench my teeth.

"SHUT UP!" I snap "Or else what are you going to do?" "Beat you into a pulp!" My wolf snarled as I grabbed his filthy hand and twisted it behind his back.

He screamed and the other guys held me from behind, "YOU BITCH!" He slapped me with his other hand hardly that I spit out blood as I winced in pain.

I scoff instead of giving in "You know if any of my pack members get to know this then what will happen to you guys? You all are gonna be rogues from that day" I pointed out.

"Don't worry babes, no one will know, and if anyone gets to know about this I will kill them" he grabbed my chin hardly moving closer to me. I kick him in the balls and bite the other men who were holding me.

Before I could run they caught me again, "Now I won't hesitate.. I wanted to give you time but you made me change my mind sweetheart.." he cupped my cheeks in his disgusting hands.

"Get ready to be marked! Tie her!" He ordered the two men, "NO!!" I yell "You can't do this!! It's not right!!" I tried to make him change his mind "Nothing will change my mind sweetheart, you'll be mine forever! We are meant to be!" He laughed evilly.

"If you touch me once you'll have to face the Alpha! Also I will never be your mate! Because to have a mate you have to have a bond that me and you don't have!" They tied me on the ground and left.

"Shall we start Baby?" He smiled hovering on top of me and started unbuttoning his shirt 'Amelia do something, I do not want to lose my dignity!" I Begged my wolf.

'sorry Nat I can't do anything about it..' she apologized, but then I smelt a presence, I used one of my hearing abilities "NATALIE WHERE ARE YOU?!!" "ASHTON!!" I yell loudly as possible.

"YOuR MAKING A HUGE MISTAKE LIAM!" I stated tearing up, distracting him "We are made for each other Nat" he grabbed my shoulders and ran his fingers on my bare arms then gripped my sleeve and tore it.

I wince and look at him in anger, "NO!!" I yell loudly as he leaned towards my face with lust in his eyes. He grabbed my chin and made me look at him then kissed me forcefully tearing my dress.

I heard footsteps approaching us, I looked at the way the sound came from and sobbed biting my teeth. "What is it?" Liam groaned not looking at his side.

"REPLY ASSHOLE" he turned around and stared in shock "B-beta A-Ashton.." he gulped, Ashton clinched his fist in anger and punched Liam right on the face.

While he was doing that I took a grasp on a piece of glass that laid on the ground and started cutting the rope on my hand, "HOW DARE YOU!!" He yelled in anger that I didn't understand for some reason.

I quickly covered myself in the red torn dress and looked away leaning on a tree as streams of tears spilled every second, "You laid a finger on a woman, and that too from a well respected pack/family!" He sent another punch.

Liam had enough so he fought back "She's my mate dammit!'' he lied "She isn't and she'll never be!" Ashton slapped him right across his face.

The guards came and cuffed Liam's hands and same goes for his goons "Natalie" Ashton moved closer to me. He placed his hand in mine and I looked at his with a blurry vision.

New tears spilled and I hugged him tightly,  my wolf purred and I didn't understand why.. Ashton hugged me back sending goosebumps all around my body.

"It's okay.." he pulled away from me and held my hand pulling me on my feet but I winced in pain falling back down in his arms, "What happened?" He asked worriedly "I twisted my ankle.." I replied.     

He sighed and lifted me off the ground bridal style and walked back home, when we arrived the first person I saw was Catherine "Jesus" she whispered pulling me inside her office.

She didn't ask further question but she just treated my wounds, she gave me a night dress and I willingly wore it.



She also accompanied me upstairs into my room.



"Are you hungry or thirsty?" She asked after laying me on the bed, "both" I smile trying to act like I'm fine. She smiled back and left the room then returned after a few minutes with a food cart.

My jaw fell, she fixed the pop up table on my lap and placed food into it. "You missed the glorious food today.. but your lucky I left some.." she scolded rolling get eyes "Sorry.." I apologize

"It's fine now eat!" She gestured towards the food, I picked up my fork and knife then cut a piece of lasagna shoving it in my mouth, I moan in delight then took a sip of the orange juice.

I ate all of it making sure not even a stain is left on the plate, she went back downstairs with the dishes. "Drink your medicine I want to go sleep Nat" she yawned, I take the pill and glass and kick her out of the room.

I drank the pill and switched off the lights leaving only the lamps on, I covered myself with the sheets, closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
