CHAPTER 10

Natalie's Pov

'Who was the man in my room?' I played with my breakfast, "Nat?" I hummed in response looking at my father "Is everything okay? Did something happen?" He asked getting mom's attention.

"Honey, your dad's right.. since you woke up this morning you have been lost in space.. did something happen yesterday?" Mom sat beside me after placing dad's coffee on the table.

"No mom.. everything's fine.." I lied 'I want to figure this out myself.. sorry for lying mom and dad..' I apologized in my mind "See! She spaced out again! I'm telling you Finn she is hiding something from us" mom caught me.

I sighed "Mom, everything's fine.. I just feel tired, maybe because I have just left the hospital" I showed her my wrist giving a small smile to her.

"I'm letting it go this time Nat.. next time I catch you I won't!" She huffed and asked "Where's your brother?" "Probably still sleeping" I shrugged finishing the tea in my cup and placed it on the table.

"I'll do this, go wake your brother up!" Mom stopped me from taking my plate and cup, I sighed and walked up the flight of stairs "Nick!!" I knocked loudly.

"Mhm" I heard a groan from inside and I understood, "Your still sleeping?!" I yelled after barging open the door. "AHHHHH!!" He yelled falling off the edge of the bed.

I couldn't hold my laugh anymore.. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" I laughed holding my stomach and tears left my eyes "You fell of the bed!!" I laughed again.

He chuckled and got up looking serious "What the reason for ruining my manly sleep?!" He walked closer "Mom" I said simply smiling widely at him.

"Ugh!!" He turned around and got in his bathroom "Bye Nick!!" I yelled getting out of his room entering my own, I closed the door behind me and saw the wolf again.

"Wait!" I yelled softly "Who are you? Why do you keep on coming into my room?!" I raised my voice and the wolf turned into the man like figure again.

He turned around and I furrowed my eyebrows, 'why is he wearing a hat?!" I said confused in my own mind. The man smirked and walked closer to me..

"W-what a-are y-you d-doing?.." I took steps behind me as he took big steps towards me, "Shhh!" He placed his gloved hands on his lips. I gulped and walked behind again but this time my back hit the door.

"What are you doing love? I'm not going to hurt you.." he caged me between the door and him 'That voice.. T-travis..' my breath hitched "What are you doing here bastard!" I yelled "I just told you not to shout darling mate!" "It's ex-mate to you!" I reminded him

"But your still mine.. still unmarked.." he touched my neck "don't touch me!" I shoved his hand away from me "Don't do that" he grabbed my jaw tightly as I flinched in pain.

I struggled to get out of his grip and felt disgusted as his free hand touched my bare stomach, "You smell so nice.. just like old times" he whispered in my ear.

"I can't believe you! Your such a douchebag! I don't even know why moon goddess chose you as my first mate!" I said in disbelief.

"Because she pitied you wouldn't get one" he replied tightening his grip, "Listen here Travis! Get your filthy hands off me!!" I raised my voice.

"Shut up you bitch!" He raised his hand and I closed my eyes tightly, I waited for a hard palm to come in contact with my cheek but nothing like that happened.

I slowly opened my eyes to see his hand stopped mid-air and my eyes came in contact with similar ones, Hazel eyes.. "Asher.." I whispered and he looked at me with worry then anger fills his eyes as it turns black.

"How dare you!!" Travis yelled "Enough Mr.Scott! How low can you stop?!" He yelled as his eyes turn more black "How dare you touch Nat" he tightened his grip on Travis's wrist as he yelps in pain.

"B-beta.." he looks at Asher in a pleading look "I am not your beta you rogue!" He twisted Travis's arm and my mouth fell open in surprise.

"Let's take this somewhere else.." he looked at me and his eyes softened then back at Travis, he jumped out of the balcony making sure to land on Travis.

The end of my lips tugged to form a smile and I turned around to see my family looking at me worriedly "Momma" I walked towards her pulling her into a hug.

"Are you okay?" She soothed my hair and I nodded "We really shouldn't have trusted that Travis guy!" Dad said "I should be ashamed to have had a friend like him!" Nick shaked his head in disgust.

"Thank God Beta Asher came.." Mom sighed breaking our hug, "Let's go downstairs into the guest bedroom.. you have to take rest" mom grabbed my hand.

I followed her while Dad and Nick went out for work into the human world, "Sleep and call me if anything wrong happens okay?" She said "Mom.. don't you need to be somewhere with your friend?" I asked.

"Yes but your more important right now.. sleep.." she kissed my forehead "Mom, go out with your friend.. I'll be fine!" I held her hand ''but you'll be home alone.." she started "I'm not human though'' I wiggled my eyebrows "Are you sure?" She asked and I nodded positively 'I won't be ruining someone else's plans because of what happened earlier..' I said in my mind.

"Now go!!" I gestured her towards the door, she sighed and left after giving me one more look just to make sure.

I turned around and closed my eyes instantly falling asleep.

Asher's POV

Jennifer came up to me with a sheepish smile "What?!" I yelled making her flinch but her smile didn't leave her face, "Well, how about I come over tonight and we have some fun.. I really need you" she grabs my arm.

I scoffed "First of all.. I'm not in the mood Jennifer, second I'm tired of you and third get out of my sight before I do something you'll regret!" I raised my tone.

"But Master.. I always turn you on and whenever you say that you always take back your words.. lastly I won't regret anything since it's from you master" she moved closer until her chest touched mine

"Your really a slut!" I scoffed "And you make me one, doesn't it sound nice hearing your name from my mouth and tearing all those lingeries I wore making me look sexy.." she whispered starting to kiss my neck.

"Fuck you Jennifer.." I cursed ''Please do Asher baby.. I'm really needing you in me right now" she ran her hand down my stomach and I grabbed it hardly then pulled her inside the pack house.
