Not gonna go too deep and will try to limit spoiler. Havnt gotten far but kinda bored already and reason(s) are simple. 1. After a certain point early on in the story, no matter what happens, the MC doesnt give a damn about consequences cause he can always run away to a safe haven. This kills any suspense that might have even had the thought of being conceived. Though later in the story his safe haven can probably be threatened, for the first, id say 500~, chapters depending on how quick the author wants to progress things, there is no threat to the MC's safety net. 2. The MC is so utterly lacking in emotions towards others its borderline mental issues if not crossing that line in some regards. Look I get not caring about strangers but he literally saves peoples lives, makes use of them like good servants, but mentally is always thinking about how he gives no shits about their lives if it comes down to running away from a problem he cant handle. He could bring them with him, but the thought doesnt cross his mind cause...not really given a reason except cold personality. Which begs me to question why save em in the first place, but w/e, guess im not that big of a 'User' type personality. 3. Same issue in a lot of novels but MC is almost always in the Right cause everyone else is petty minded halfwit retarded sons of bitches (or daughters of bitches, gender equality and all that). A few characters have a brain that functions normally, but they usually end up as the MCs pet gophers that he could throw away at the drop of a hat. My current three biggest gripes, might add more later if I pick this back up. Some other things related to scoring I guess. Characters arnt exactly cardboard cut outs, but most of em arnt horribly fleshed out by this point (and who knows how many will be around in 100+ chapters?). Stability? Eh, dunno, picked up recently, put down more recently. Story - The pacing wasnt bad but im also not really sure how far along the cultivation system goes and all its stages, steps, and the like. It has some lulls followed by Actions Required Beyond Daily Norm segments. Translation Quality- Was a bit spotty and sometimes downright confusing but could also been the author instead of translator due to most words seemingly translated correct but some sentences just not making any damn sense due to location in the chapter. World - Not badly done so far but wish the 'power systems' were more streamlined. Currently there are 4? or 5? 'paths' of cultivation and three sets of terms for their tiers (maybe more after some more fleshing out for them). The world also seems rather large with exploration possible locations name dropped for the MC when he gets stronger or somehow wanders his ass over there.
