The division of eras in mythologyIn Greek mythology, the ages of humans were divided into the Golden Age, the Silver Age, the Bronze Age, the Heroic Age, and the Black Iron Age. The Golden Age was the first era where people lived together with the gods. There was no sorrow or labor, and they enjoyed abundant food. The Silver Age was after Cronus was overthrown, and humans began to work in exchange for food. The Bronze Age was the era when Zeus began to rule the world. People were tortured by various mental illnesses and plagues. The Black Iron Age was the era before the end of the world. People lived in the shadow of darkness and death. In Chinese mythology, the eras were divided into the Pangu Era, the Nuwa Era, and the Fuxi Era. They marked the creation of heaven and earth, the reproduction of the world, the reconstruction of the world, and the establishment of civilization.

4. Post-modern: Usually refers to the second half of the 20th century. During this period, many social, political, and cultural phenomena and issues received widespread attention and discussion, such as terrorism, gender equality, and identity.
Of course, different novels might use different standards for dividing eras or treat certain periods as specific historical periods, such as the historical period of ancient China.
An interesting idea about a godlike being who spectates the evolution of humanity. We get to see many different small story arcs in different eras told from the people living in there as well as the occasional input from the godlike being. What I liked was how the worldbuilding was fleshed out with these short stories. Unfortunately it was a bit boring to read. The time skips were really big and the story was kind of all over the place.
