The story began when Harry was still living in his aunt's attic. A visiting aunt slandered Harry's parents, and Harry angrily turned her into a human balloon and ran away from home. Pettigrew was about to be brought back to the House for disposal when the full moon appeared. Lupin transformed into a werewolf. Pettigrew fled. Sirius was outmatched by Lupin the werewolf. Hermione imitated the wolf's cry to lure Lupin away and was driven away by Buckbeak. Harry, who had rushed to the lake, cast a more powerful Patronus Charm to dispel the dementors.
