She pampered the villain after the book
Everyone in Guangyue City knew that the eldest daughter of the Yun family, Yun Ran, had a bodyguard who accompanied her since she was young. She could not be chased away, and she was also ridiculed by others because of this.
She had once shouted at him angrily,"Can you not follow me?!" So annoying!"
He did not react.
However, not long after, Missy became the bodyguard's follower.
"Ember, if you don't let me follow you, I won't like you anymore," she joked.
The girl's smile was bright and cunning, like a little fox.
The next second, she was pressed into his arms and kissed.
The man's back was slightly bent. His posture was humble and pious, and his eyes were filled with aggression and possessiveness. His voice was hoarse and low.
"Ranran, don't joke with me like this."
He could tolerate her never looking back.
But he couldn't stand her leaving his sight.

He had lived half his life in darkness, drowning in hatred, and she was his only light.

Hi! I just came across Imperial Funeral Knights: The Kingdom's Handsome Asset and I couldn't stop laughing while reading. King Kunggyu turning his personal dental care into a national holiday with the Lemonade Choco Brownie auction is such a perfect intro to the kind of humor this story has. And Lord Mansan's whole "funeral asset" bit, where noble ladies beg to be struck down by his gaze and the Imperial Funeral Knights show up with a full marching band, had me cracking up. Then the tonal shift into Mansu's backstory, losing the original Mansan and taking up his name and baton to fight for the people, gave the story such unexpected heart. I do manga-style commission art, and I love projects that mix comedy with striking character design like this one. I'd love to create art of Mansan spinning his drum major baton mid-protest in the public square, or that dramatic "funeral knights" scene with the noble lady swooning as the marching band plays behind him.
