This was a quick 5 star novel.The tale is about a young boy named Atlas, who woke up on an unknown planet and found everyone on the planet dead. He is a boy born without a tag on him known as "untagged". The untagged is the individual how possed the strength or talent to rival the Emperor and conceded as the symbol of terror and destruction. The story starts when the boy escapes from a slave dealer to find his mother and thus the tale of an Untagged boy, who brings an end to the Dark Age begging.

This is a good book for the most part, my biggest complaint is that life #2 is killed off ingloriously, anticlimactically, and without even a chance to fight back. Then EVERYONE DIES. All the characters we have met up until now? Dead. All the canon characters from the real games/anime? Dead. The cute family of mareep ranchers? Dead. And the entire story up to this point? Rendered pointless, it happened 300 years ago and no one from that time is alive to remember anything about it. Humanity has largely been scoured from the planet and is close to total extinction, Rayquaza is just dead. It started strong, then faceplanted at the finish line for me.
