I don't really know for sure as I haven't read it. But it could be the 'dark gamer' themselves as the main character. There might also be some of the original PJO characters like Percy Jackson or Annabeth Chase who interact with this new 'dark gamer' character.

If PJO characters read the fanfiction books, it could be quite an experience. Percy might find it strange to see different versions of himself. For example, some fanfictions might show him with powers he doesn't actually have. Annabeth would likely analyze how the fanfiction authors handle the strategic elements of their quests. She might be impressed by some creative solutions in the fanfictions or disappointed by unrealistic ones. Grover, on the other hand, would be excited to see how the fan community portrays his relationship with Percy and the others.
