usually don't do reviews but felt like sharing my thoughts here. story is really good, feels grounded in reality. many fanfics have a tunnel vision focused on the MC; it feels like the world outside of the MC (or whoever's POV) is frozen and only becomes active when they become relevant to the MC. the main character is definitely Hector, most of the time we are following him, his thoughts and actions, but we also get enough of other characters to understand that everything is in constant flux irrespective of Hector. another good point of this story is that we often get to see the wider influence of Hector's actions. it feels more natural that way, instead of being directly told by the author/narrator. also, the majority of the characters are well-developed and form a good feedback loop of interactions with Hector. every character has something they offer for Hector's growth as a character while not sacrificing their individuality or personality, and they in turn also grow with Hector. this is especially in the case of the core circle of summons, but still applies to other side characters too; nobody is badly ignored. the updates come slowly, but chapters are very content-packed and filling. not like some other fanfics that have <1k word chapters that you can read in a minute or less.
