A wonderful novelization of my favorite version of «The Evil Dead», perfectly conveys the atmosphere of «Within the Woods». I am very, very sorry that the movie «Within the Woods» probably won't have a direct sequel with the last surviving Ellen (the actress is too old, unless the action takes place more than forty years later). I also love the «The Evil Dead» of 1981, but by the fact that the demons there are «imported», that is, accidentally brought by a professor from India (Candar, by the way, is real, existing since antiquity, but historically a little-known city in India), and the Necronomicon, with which it cannot be otherwise; they are in many ways inferior to «Within the Woods» in originality. Here the demons are ancestral, «their own»: both in the place where the action takes place; and in the country of production of the film. Also, in addition to Аmerindian spirits, which are rarely found in popular American horror films; «Within the Woods» also captivates with a vivid example of good friendships. Scotty showed himself at the beginning as not the smartest of the company; but even in agony he did everything to save his friends. When Ellen took him in fright for evil spirits and mortally wounded him; it is unlikely that he could not have realized at that moment that he had only a few minutes left to live. The first thing Scotty said after that fatal blow was that he had a gun in his bag in the basement and that Ellen should take it for self-defense. She's in shock: «I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you»; but Scotty to her only: «Take the gun!» and practically with these words dies in front of her, except for the moment when Ellen leaves for a weapon and, returning, discovers that in her absence, Scotty, already and without this dying, was finished off by someone. I really want some kind of fan sequel with the surviving Ellen, for example, «Within the Woods 2» or at least just some other fanfiction based on the movie «Within the Woods». My personal request for author, 'The Royal Family have imposed a rule that a person other than a royal born can't practice magic under a certain age, so far it has helped the empire to stabilize its power struggle, but there must be some people who oppose this rule or have spite for the royal cause they feel it's a form of oppression. And in close analysis it very much feels like a selfish & desparate measure by Royal Family to keep themselves on top of the Power Hierarchy. I want to experience this law's actual impact in story. In early chapters it was hinted that Kiara hate Aoife cause she thinks the Royal Family tried to suppress her growth, and i also think (personal analysis) that she hate the Royals cause she believes if she had given chance to grow, she might have able save her mother or resist her aunt. Through this, i would like see how Aoife will handle this, does she support this law?
