Tang Empire: Iron-Blooded Returning Army
[There are lone loyalists in the northwest. Returning to loyalty and guarding the loyal soul is a history that the people should not forget. The style of writing is passionate and happy, but it does not abuse the Lord.]
When Zhang Yanli transmigrated and became the second son of Zhang Huaishen, the commander of the Guiyi Army, he was in a bad mood. Because 16 years later, his whole family would die in a mutiny, and the murderer of the mutiny was still a mystery. Just as Zhang Yanli was struggling to change his fate to live a perfect transmigrator's life, he realized that there was an essay written by himself in the future on his table. The essay was about his life of fancy death. Once he chose to change, In the future, he would die in a different way.
In order to change the tragic fate of himself and his family, to change the fate of the forgotten Tang people in Hexi, and to burn the unyielding soul of the Chinese people forever in Hexi!
Zhang Yanli picked up the Mo Sword in his hand and led the Hexi Returning Army to swear to exterminate the Uighurs, drive away the Long family, and swallow Wenmo to restore Hexi. In the end, he led the Returning Army formed by the forgotten people to rule the world and rebuild the broken mountains and rivers that Li Tang had ruined.
Since I, Zhang Yanli, am here, I will do everything I can to make the Tang stand at the top of the world, even if I have to bear the name of a tyrant!

I really like this book and think it’s a lot better than the usual on this site or app. The one thing I don’t like is the brain tumor aspect. It just raises too many questions for me that seem unanswerable. Like any time Lex makes a mistake it’s always like, is this human error he can learn and grow from or just rash behavior due to brain tumor. Also it makes me question some comedy scenes, like when he got the upgrade to the mystery trials where it will notify him of certain talents and he started basically making the strawhats. I thought that was pretty funny but then I thought is this more rash behavior or is this just a funny moment to laught at. It also raises some questions about his family when they’re revealed to basically be some sort of “top dogs”. Like were they just going to let him die from the brain tumor? Do they know? If they don’t that’s pretty disappointing considering they are basically gods and if they do then it’s unforgivable to me that they would have left it in. I see no good reason to leave it in unless they’re from a species that has to die to reach its full potential lol.
