This story is about an underdog story, you have seen many of these stories where the MC because very strong and has a lot of pride and/or gifts from people that they might have never met. Most underdog stories are very cliche and I think that why most people don’t like it. But that shouldn’t be the reason why people should dislike a story because of how cliche it is.
