Honest review. Interesting premise, MC's past is interesting and want to know more about it, I like the whole white room sub plot, would be fun seeing him interact with Ayanokoji in the future, him helping people in the past is an interesting plot aswell. Interactions between mc and heroine can be quite bland sometimes, different POV chapters can be summarized in only 1 chapter, kinda boring writing the same thing only from a different pov, should of been author's POV, depending on what it is. All in All, fun novel to read. Recommend.

Sorry, but I won't be praising this fanfiction like other readers. The author has managed to make me hate Hikigaya, and that's quite something. Simply put, in this fanfiction, Hikigaya is completely useless; worse, he's a traitor who hinders Class D's progress. The author has stripped Hikigaya of his kindness, transforming him into a cold and selfish character. Furthermore, the author seems to hate Ayanokiji, labeling him a manipulative villain, even though he's a much more complex character. Hikigaya even tries to get him expelled, without any good reason. Ayanokiji's genius is constantly belittled so that Hikigaya can thwart his plans. On top of that, Hikigaya has no motivation whatsoever and is content to cause chaos everywhere and judge others for their flaws, while he himself is even worse. This is a far cry from the original, complex yet endearing Hikigaya. Here, the main character resembles a typical, flawless protagonist from a Chinese novel. He has literally destroyed all hope for his own class and then dares to judge Ayanokoji. Ayanokoji has the excuse of having been broken by the White Room, but Hikigaya has no excuse for his selfish behavior. So, sorry, but in my opinion, the author completely misunderstood the psychology of Hikigaya and Ayanokoji and turned them into two detestable characters.
