It was the only organization led by Harry, and it first appeared in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Although it was called Dumbledore's Army, Dumbledore did not participate in the creation of the organization. In fact, it was Hermione who proposed the establishment of this organization, the purpose of which was to allow students to learn self-defense magic. The organization was founded on the grounds that the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Umbridge, did not teach any practical knowledge of resisting the Dark Arts.
At the Hog's Head's Fair, Harry had been worried that he would not be able to get any students, given the contradiction between the Ministry's declaration of peace and Harry's insistence that Voldemort had returned. In the end, however, more than twenty people signed up, including Ron's twin brother, Neville, Luna, and Cho, Harry's crush, and her best friend Mariette. Hermione was very resourceful. She made the participants sign their names on a piece of parchment that had been enchanted so that a purple pustule with the word "traitor" would grow on the traitor's face for life.
They had found the Room of Requirement as the location, which Dumbledore had probably deliberately revealed to the elf, who had then told Harry. As for the name of the organization, Cho suggested that it should be called the Defense Association (D.A.), which seemed to be Dumbledore's Army, and it was finally adopted. Once a week after that, Harry taught Defense Against the Dark Arts here, and the members made remarkable progress, learning everything from Expelliarmus to Impediment Charm, Smash Charm, and even the Voodoo Guard against the Wraith. Hermione also used the enchanted fake Galleon to inform the members of the gathering time. This method of communication was very subtle and effective for a long time.
Dumbledore's Army, however, had been discovered by Mariette's snitching on Umbridge. Mariette's mother worked at the Ministry of Magic, and she had never wanted to get involved in anything that might upset Umbridge, and Cho had dragged her here. Despite Dobby's warning, Harry was caught red-handed. When Harry was taken to Dumbledore's office, Fudge, the Minister of Magic, and Kingsley, Auror, were both present. Dumbledore claimed that he had entrusted Harry with the creation of Dumbledore's Army to protect Harry, and Kingsley, a member of the new Order of the Phoenix, had secretly cast a Memory Charm on Maritta.
Dumbledore's Army came from Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor, including Padma Patil. This organization was very important in the story. Many of the members did not join the organization just to learn defensive magic. For example, Zacharias Smith wanted to know the cause of Cedric Diggory's death, but they eventually turned to the goal of the organization. Hermione was the real planner of the organization. Although Harry was responsible for teaching, Hermione was responsible for the planning and work of the organization. Ginny Weasley also played a role in the naming process, adopting the D.A. initialism and proposing the name Dumbledore's Army. The mass escape from Azkaban had spurred the members to train harder, and Seamus Finnigan, who had initially distrusted Harry, had changed his mind and joined the team.

Definitely quite interesting and intriguing with how Dumbledore decided to have Professor Mcgonagall join Grindelwald's army or should say Destiny's army since that is who is in Britain quite intrigued as to what will happen that Dumbledore sent Mcgonagall to be a spy in Destiny's army and of her recruitment especially when she is close to Dumbledore wonder what will happen look forward for when ur able to get the chance to continue on with this book
